We all know the deal. 3-2 down. Lose and go home. Win and force game 7. Whatever happens I'm proud of the boys.

We are currently -4.5 point favorites.

Game is on ESPN in the US.

Projected starting lineups:

Cavs:

Darius Garland

Donovan Mitchell

Max Strus

Evan Mobley

Jarret Allen

Injury Report: Dean Wade, Ty Jerome, Craig Porter all OUT, Jarrett Allen is QUESTIONABLE (but will likely start if healthy).

Magic:

Jalen Suggs

Gary Harris

Franz Wagner

Paolo Banchero

Wendell Carter Jr.

Injury report: Gary Harris is QUESTIONABLE (but likewise will likely start if healthy)

Let's go.

I had to try and be positive for the starter but I'm going on record and saying I'm not confident about this game. This is the first time this young team have been in this type of lose and go home situation and I'm concerned guys are going to tighten up and we'll have a rough offensive night again and it'll be enough for Cleveland to squeak past us.

Hope I'm wrong. Would love to force a game 7.

I believe that a fast start is so very important. If we come out flat and get down by 12 or 14 points early, then that will increase the pressure and guys may start pressing and force the issue too much. Paolo may start doing too much and could start turning the ball over frequently. However, if we start fast then the crowd will get involved and Cleveland may call it a night and settle for a game 7 back at their place. Shaq said last night that he thinks the Magic will win the series in 7 games. Barkley kind of feels the same way. Kenny Smith was the only one to pick the Cavs to win the series. He thinks Mitchell and Garland will be too much for the younger Magic team to handle.

Last game of regular season was similar.  I think these guys thrive off having their backs against wall and will rise to the occasion.

Agree 150% on Cole, time for him to go off!

It's time for Cole to break out and have 2 monster games, leading us to wins in games 6 & 7. If GH plays we need to run more plays to take advantage of his shooting!
This is also evaluation time for some guys that may not be with us next season.

Someone has to do it for gods sake

Our boys need to just knock down their threes.

I've always said if we can knock down at least 12 3's and shoot around 80 percent from the ft line then we will win the game. In the 2 games that we won that was exactly the case.

I wonder who will be working the game on ESPN? I know some Magic fans who are very upset that Comcast has dropped Bally Sports from their lineup due to various disputes. As a result, they are unable to watch the local Magic broadcast of the game with David Steele and Jeff Turner. Myself personally I always watch the Orlando Magic tv broadcast instead of ESPN or TNT.

Nice post, Time2GetSerious. Very good points.

I would have given you the 'heart' vote symbol (for love your post), but my tablet won't allow me to insert it.
