This is the first time this young team have been in this type of lose and go home situation and I'm concerned guys are going to tighten up and we'll have a rough offensive night again and it'll be enough for Cleveland to squeak past us. Hope I'm wrong. Would love to force a game 7. Will be another learning experience, whatever happens. I'm also not confident cause Mitchell has the experience and a lot of great playoff games in his CV, until now we had him under control more or less (more in O-Town), but I always fear he gets hot. We had Harris on him initially, made a good work, and then Suggs probably even better. Keep it up. Quote

Phil4Real Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 Taking the series to a game seven would be wonderful. And I think we are in a very good position to do that. Hopefully this team can be patient on offense and tenacious on defense, like in games 3 and 4. We've done it before and I think they know where Cleveland is vulnerable. It's going to be crucial to remain focused at the start of the game, it's not possible today to start 10 points down in the first quarter if we want to survive. I will stay up late today, I still have to decide whether to serve coffee or wine xD. I am actually delighted to be able to stay late with such a good reason. Will Allen play today? I don't know what Mosley is gonna do about GH but i hope he doesn't start Caleb tonight. Quote

I would have given you the 'heart' vote symbol (for love your post), but my tablet won't allow me to insert it. That's ok TMF. I appreciate the kind words! Here's hoping for a fast start tonight! Let's grab a 12-point first quarter lead and put the pressure on them. Quote

If I am not mistaken, I believe that Dennis also holds the franchise record for most 3's made in a game? Quote
Time2GetSerious Posted May 3, 2024 Report Posted May 3, 2024 Starting lineup for tonight: MAGIC - Suggs, Harris, Franz, Paolo, WCJ. CAVS - Garland, Mitchell, Strus, Mobley, Allen. I actually think Cleveland played a little better without Allen the last game. This could benefit the Magic. Especially at home. Quote

Correction: Both Harris and Allen are OUT tonight. Got some bad info. Shame on me for not doing my homework! Quote

I've probably never seen such a weak backcourt rotation in a playoff team, but going that route is not the solution IMO. And coach isn't exactly helping the confidence of the other guards out there. No trust at all to Fultz, and indirectly to AB and Houstan? 1 1 Quote
