Thank you, JJZFL. Someone had to tell him. I'm sick and tired of it. He's the same one who said crazy stuff like this a few years ago. -

You tell 'em big guy! (I don't know if you are big or not :P ) No disrespect to the other participants who are slightly or not at all giving major props to Cory Joseph. What you said about him, All Eyes On Me, are my sentiments. I know we are looking ahead to the future, but look at where we are right NOW. We would not be where we are right now if CoJo had not been called upon to lead us to the Magic Land, mainly due to injuries. Some have been putting emphasis on his age, but he doesn't look that old, and he has a lot of zip and court vision than starters I have seen on other teams, and some here have been saying he shouldn't be in the league. Let's enjoy the ride. LET'S GO MAGIC!!! -
Whoa, Albert Lergier! Why are you on the Magics' message board doing a breakdown of how the Nuggets will fare. You know I love you. The Nuggets must be your second favorite team. :)

MAGIC AT HAWKS ~SUNDAY~ State Farm Arena - Atlanta, GA Sunday, April 13th at 1:00 P.M. EST TV: FanDuel Sports Network

I agree. I, along with other participants like JJZL have been saying this for the longest. Not running the ball is what has been lacking. When I watch some of the other teams, they push the ball up the floor on offense. Our point guards, not name Jacobs, like to take their time putting the ball on the floor and let it roll across the half court line before picking it up. By running the ball at fast pace, it doesn't give the opponent time to set up on defense. I love the way our bench players played--ball movement and finding the open man.

I understand that the product the Bucks had on the floor last night were unrecognizable bench players. However, our bench players played very well. This was the point I was making in my post 20 hrs. ago after the game against the Hawks. The Magic's bench players need to be given an opportunity to play significant minutes down the stretch to see what we have (possibly if needed going into the playoffs--a bench with a significant bunch of roleplayers who wouldn't miss a beat while some of the starters are resting). Playing the bench last night gave the Magic a different look that other teams are not use to seeing. We couldn't see that in the Hawks game the other night because the starters played heavy minutes. GO MAGIC!!!!

Could someone help me with a stream for tonight's game. The one I was using doesn't work anymore. Thanks.

I am very happy that we won against the Hawks last night. Most of you know that I am a die-hard Magic fan. But my biggest concern is we have a few games to go in the regular season, then perhaps the playin. But the way the Magic played last night is not sustainable. We all know injuries do happen. First: All 5 starters played a lot of minutes and scored a lot of points. **Banchero played 37 minutes and Franz played 40 minutes** We've got to get more help from the bench (hopefully in scoring). Second: I couldn't watch the game, so I don't know who came off the bench first, AB or Cole. As much as we complain about Cole, he does get hot every now and then. Last night, he played 10 minutes and scored only one point. Third: Who was the backup center last night? I saw where Goga was listed as DNP. Is he injured?. At some point we need him against taller, bigger centers on other teams.

In reading this post, MagicOne, you had better be careful because some people might think you are one doughnut short of a dozen. :)

I'm sorry, MagicOne. It did not look good. For me, it was like when I was able to watch the games won, maybe it looked good because I could see the game (visually), but when I had to read the Gamecast, the script gave me a whole different perspective about how, method, or approach to the way the Magic were playing
-
I have to agree with you Argentina. I had been streaming games until tonight. I had to follow the game on ESPN gamecast. To my amazement, most of the action was from Paolo Banchero, followed by Franz (mostly from Banchero). It was like reading a chat transcript online. There was hardly any interaction from other members of the team--for example: Banchero attempts a jumpshot...Banchero grabs a rebound...Banchero makes a jumpshot...Banchero grabs a rebound.......... Yeah, I saw Franz name once and a while, also, WCJ and KCP added something to the win. But I hardly saw any other players' names. This did not look good.

That's a big "IF", MagicOne. Paolo and Franz have been putting up big numbers, but for the Magic to win a championship hinges upon having a surrounding cast of shooters and a very good point guard. When will that happen in this era, no one knows. The Shaq and Penny 1995 NBA Champtionship finals duo were surrounded by a cast of very good shooters. 1995 ORLANDO MAGIC NBA CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS ROSTER #31 JEFF TURNER - /OH YEAH!

The Orlando Magic's most iconic and arguably best duo of all time was Shaquille O'Neal and Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, who led the team to the NBA Finals in 1995. Here's a more detailed look at their impact: Shaquille O'Neal and Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway: Dominant Duo: O'Neal, a dominant center, and Hardaway, a dynamic point guard, formed a formidable partnership that brought the Magic to prominence. NBA Finals Run: The duo led the Magic to the NBA Finals in 1995, where they faced the Houston Rockets, ultimately losing in 4 games. Franchise Success: They secured the franchise's first playoff appearance and run to the NBA Finals, establishing the Magic as a force in the league. O'Neal's Departure: O'Neal's departure in the summer of 1996 marked the end of this powerhouse duo. Other Notable Duos: Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson: Howard, a dominant center, and Nelson, a skilled point guard, led the Magic to the NBA Finals in 2009, their first appearance since 1995. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner: Currently, Banchero and Wagner are setting the longest streak by a duo in Magic history with each scoring 20+ points in nine straight games. Orlandoholic, my take from Luke_FfS' comment about "KCP looking more the player we paid for", In my opinion he was referencing recent outstanding games KCP played, especially last night. You disputed and misinterpreted Luke's comment by mentioning how poorly he played going back to the beginning of the season. Luke's compliment of KCP was based on last night's game, not the entire season.

Remember the 'Hack-a-Shaq? It was hilarious because in tight games, other teams had Shaq constantly walking to the free throw line every time he touched ball during the last few minutes of a game.
-
~A MESSAGE FROM PAOLO~ Paolo says: "Dwight Howard, who was also a superstar, says welcome to the club!" . Edit: No excuses for Paolo missing free throws, but Dwight certainly missed a lot of free throws.

You talk about Jameer alot and his shortcomings. What I posted was not about Jameer. My point was about my not having seen a Magic team whose style of play has been 2 v 5 until now. I sifted through various seasons to find the makeup of Magic teams in the past that did not use 2 v 5 style of play. Perhaps I should have posted only the link for the 2010-2011 season (leaving out the names of the players on the roster) and let anyone interested be the judge.
-
Of all my years of watching Magic basketball, I don't remember seeing that before. I googled the 2010-2011 roster to refresh my memory. During that season, Stan Van Gundy was the coach. I don't remember 2 v 5 being played by the Magic. We had a good floor general in Jameer Nelson who could also score and we had other players who could spread the floor by making 3pt shots. See key players from that season below: Dwight Howard, Marcin Gortat - center and rim protectors Jameer Nelson, Jason Williams - point guards Rashard Lewis, Ryan Anderson, power forwards Hedo Turkoglu, Quentin Richardson, Michael Pietrus - small forwards JJ Redick, Jason Richardson - shooting guards Link: https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/ORL/2011.html

I saw that too. It was so frustrating to watch. I didn't understand if that was the coaches' game plan or the team going away from what they were instructed to do. I believe that some of the close games the Magic lost were winnable.

I agree with the bolded statement.
