  1. I think for me with Clifford it's that he won't deviate from when starters are due to come out at all. If one is hot, keep him in a little longer until he comes back down to earth play wise. Had this with AG a few games back, he was hot in the first quarter and took him out. Keep him in for a few more minutes. The odd game where someone gets hot and plays a few extra minutes isn't going to have an impact on their health or cause them to fatigue. He allows the bench players extra minutes if they get hot, do the same with the starters. Issac isn't even playing high minutes for a starter, can easily give him more minutes when it's needed. Dunno, just find it really frustrating.

  2. We should try to get Bogdan Bogdanovich from the Kings. Sacramento can’t pay him and if he plays good we can extend him. Maybe they take Mo Bamba plus Wes...Bogdanovich is a great shooter, above the average passer and he got confidence to make shots. He will improve the offence significantly.

  3. Ok so the impressive thing about Isaac's game tonight wasn't that he scored 25 points. 25 points in one game isn't all that impressive. The impressive thing was he was making reads on offense and playing to those reads. Every guy practices offensive moves and you often see guys decide to make those moves before a play even starts and that's bad because the play doesn't always work for the situation. But Isaac was picking spots on the fly. He was pulling up when guys backed off he was reading what the defense was doing and was attacking the weak point his man was giving up in mid dribble. That's not something that everyone does. It's a really really big indicator about his future on offense and it's not something he's ever shown before. Like Gordon really struggles with that. I don't know what it means for his future. It's one game. But wow.

  5. Agree in general but not with the part that SAC can’t pay him. Ariza and Bjelica contacts will basically come out of their payroll at the end of the year, so they will have margin and by the good impact Bogdanovic is making for them, I think it is very likely they will keep him. Looking at how we are at the moment, it looks like in the best scenario, we will just make into the playoffs but then, with no real perspective of good playoff run after that: playing MIL or BOS or PHI or TOR... and if we follow the same philosophy of last summer, I don’t see us improving considerably next year too... So I do think we should do something and try to improve our team. And by going to the market, we should focus on POR as trading partner... they are a “winning-now” team that is not delivering so they must be open for trade, and they have one player (Simons) that I really believe would fit perfectly with our future core (Fultz, Isaac... and probably Bamba, Okeke). I think Fournier+Aminu would satisfy their current needs and let him and Bazemore go. Note that Bazemore contract end next summer.

  6. I do wish we did not miss the rebound before Aaron's shot

  7. Svg liked finding a way to defend with your best offensive players. Turk, JJ, Nelson, and etc. Otis rarely picked non-shooters. It is a coaching and GM thing. I don't know which way is better. I do know our gm has a preference with length. He also found the Greek freak this way. So far, he rarely looks for skilled offensive players, but the players he has brought in are still young and developing. We will need to see overtime. Half of the team and most of the starters, the gm inherited. You need to watch isaac, fultz, mo, khem, wes, okeke, mcw, and chief. Those are the players brought in by the gm. We will see how these players develop and impact the team. So far, Fultz and isaac look like studs and mcw is a nice impact player.

  8. Ready to move on from Cliff. He's been terrible this year.

  9. I’ve been preaching this since last year. Give JI the damn ball and let’s let the kid shine. Didn’t even get to watch the game but from the few plays I got to catch I could tell he was having a special night. This kid keeps putting together more and more of these games with more frequency and the sky is the limit for him. Also JI has way better handles than AG and looks like a legitimate initiator on offense. He just knows how to play basketball on both sides of the ball and is a great team player.

  10. Clifford is losing all these games with his stubborn stupidity. Look at Raptors, Vanvleet and Siakam play more than 40 minutes vs Hawks tonight. Nurse is riding his young players to win games. Clifford plays Both Fultz and Isaac under 30...and then almost every game team is not prepared to play, opponents always want it more than us. And this offence is absolutely unwatchable, Augustin ovedribbles the ball all the time and then comes up with the turnover or a very awkward play, same with the soft Fournier...Ross is not a very smart player but normal coach would make him to take good shots not these uncontrolled , contested catch and shoot jumpers...anyway...the only hope is that Orlando gets a modern young coach one day and roster would change, can’t wait to see Fournier and Augustin go... on a bright side, Isaac and Fultz have a huge potential and hopefully we won’t harass their improvement too much and not trade them...

  11. Being preaching this for a long time, but Ross is such a cancer on teams. Most were fooled by his hot shooting last year in some games, he still had games where he just continually jacks up hail marys. Some of this goes on the coach too, how does he put him back in the game!!1 he's so bad. We really need to get him away from our team. ASAP. I'm liking Fournier this year but we still need to move on from these two (think were stuck with Vooch unfortunately). Build towards the future even if we take a step back. Hand Isaac and Fultz the keys.

  12. We just keep him in the corner to shoot. He flashes to the paint and he gets waived off or ignored by the other starters. I have seen him seal players after running the floor or mismatches, but then aaron, Fournier, and vuch never seem to find him.

  14. The main problem is we're playing a defense to encourage mid range shots against a team that wants to take mid range shots

  15. Worst trade in Magic history is still biting us in the tush https://nba.nbcsports.com/2016/06/23/report-thunder-trade-serge-ibaka-to-magic-for-victor-oladipo-domantas-sabonis-ersan-ilyasova/

  17. When MCW is healthy, I’d like to see the 9 man rotation with him as backup point and DJ riding the pine. He’s been that bad, in my opinion

  18. 1 thing I will say in Fultz and Isaac these 2 have MASSIVE futures for us. That pleases me to know that. If Isaacs offence catches up to his defence which I think it will, we have a all NBA player.

  19. Sorry but he’s a stiff. I don’t think confidence has anything to do with it. Let the down votes commence. Lol

  20. Man y'all let my man Jay be as optimistic as he wants. Who cares if it's realistic. He provides a nice balance from all the super negative post on here.

  22. it is visual. even my 11 old son can see how bad he is playing. (You lost some points in my book.) My son said, what is Bamba doing, Dad. I just shook my head and said." son, I dont Know why he is in the game. He was the 6th pick." Personally, he is the chris duhon and the Jerian grant on the roster. But let me get this right, it is my analysis that is the problem? I see. He would be the starter for you over vuch. You are one of those people? I will let you to continue to think he is good. Because it is only hyperbolic in what I am seeing. He is really a dominant force on the court because he is +7. He is the reason we are winning. He has all the tools, fundamental, and the skills to be a force on the court. I am the crazy one... Some people are just hard to reason with... I can admit when I am wrong. This is not one of those times.... Hyperbolic... Haaaa.... Vince carter wince face.... Please... BTW, I dont mind playing Fultz, Birch, or Wes Iwundu. They are all new player we are developing. Birch has only played in 96 games. I have an issue with what I see on the floor. Point blank.

  23. but my whole comment was not exaggerated. He is not good. But I will let you all have the black eye roll... https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/bambamo01.html Mo Bamba for the win....

  24. We need to make it clear that this is Isaac's team. The vets are here to score when open and make the young guys look good. They need to be leaders off the court. Salary doesn't correspond to priority order for scoring, minutes, or taking shots. When our guys become stars, Cliff won't be the coach if he doesn't hold people accountable, especially vets.

  25. dont get me wrong. I love Isaac, but he is not a great offensive player yet. He is a great defender. I would love to see Fultz over and over on offense though. It is time.

  27. It only confirms what we all know. Selfish ball ain’t gonna cut it.

  28. Nah. We were on the negative a lot during the first half of last season with the bench saving their behinds a lot. Fournier just plays selfishly. Unfortunately we are stuck with him at least for a few more months.

  29. You just hate Fournier period. Even when he has been lighting it up for the last 7 games and we won 4 out of 7 in large part because of him. Two of those losses have been with the injuries. Your opinion can't be taken seriously when you criticize the guy who gave us a chance to win (it wasn't all Isaac and Fournier was better than Fultz tonight). How is the primary scorer that the offense was ran through by the coaching staff selfish because he finally missed late? Ross was the player at fault on the inbound pass. We left shooters wide open all night and we missed several gimmes that we had to make so it doesn't come down to one play.If anything, the early over-reliance on MCW and poor playing questionable lineups kept Birch and Iwundu from getting into a rhythm when we knew that we would need them eventually.
