All Eyes On Me

There are a few holes that need to be addressed and already should have been. Wendell being our only healthy big is terrifying. Shooting is as abysmal as ever and distribution is an issue as well. Management is going to hide behind injuries as an excuse and stand pat so I’m mentally preparing myself for that.

Turning this one off. Luckily we haven’t had many games like this this year, but we need to get healthy quick or we’re in trouble.

Absolutely pathetic effort in the first half

Goga is out tonight with the hip injury he suffered as well as being placed in the concussion protocol which happened in the Sixers game as well. We only have 8 guys that aren’t listed on the injury report tonight. Weee

This is interesting to me because we have a pretty big hole at certain with Moe and now Goga hurt and I believe we still have a two-way contract open. Maybe Castleton sees some burn in the big league soon? I’ll admit I’m ignorant as to how G League contracts work so please correct me if I’m wrong

My hope with Franz is that he’s back 1/25 at home against Detroit or 1/27 at Miami. This would make him available for our entire west coast swing that’s 5 games and starts 1/30 in Portland

Be careful, next Sunday is the Nuggets in Orlando. The boys come out here to Denver on Feb 6.

Huge win. I’m done second-guessing this team. Moseley could run out a lineup of me and the Golden Girls and we’d find a way to win. Overcame a lot of suspect officiating (both challenges that Philly “won” are baffling!), missed free throws, turnovers, and injuries and still somehow pulled out a Dub. Big shoutout to JI, Cole and TQ. We don’t win this game without the 3 of them and their huge plays throughout the game. TQ is gonna take Caleb’s roster spot and might belong in our regular rotation if we ever get healthy.

Get Paolo back, lose KCP ugh. What a return for P5. 34 points in 27 minutes! And he’s gonna kick himself for the next 2 days on that missed free throw. Keep on chugging along. Fingers crossed we get freakin healthy at some point

Did KCP get banged up? Really weird to not see him play the entire 2nd

Goga’s body language and effort are terrible

Bug eye Portis has gotta be the biggest pain in the butt Magic killer in the league right now.

P looks fantastic! Really feel like the game has slowed down for him. A few months of watching and coaching has probably done him a ton of good for him long term

My thought on Goga is that he really hates playing with Cole as PG. He has obvious chemistry with Suggs and Franz but in this lineup he’s not getting those easy opportunities he needs to get him into a rhythm

I don’t know if it’s regression with JI and WCJ. I think it’s more that there’s a spotlight on them now with so many guys out and we’re getting a glimpse into how inconsistent and underwhelming they both are on the offensive end. They were both great in NY a few nights ago and both dreadful again last night. I think they both get away with being subpar most nights because of the brilliance we see out of our younger core. I’m probably in the minority, but I think Isaac would be a moveable asset with good money and a better reputation than his play that could bring in improvement in a trade.

Oh yeah, his G-League has been showing hard these past few games. We’ll always have Boston lol

Fully expect Paolo to be back on Friday. No point in returning him into a b2b and the Milwaukee game is bigger than the Minnesota game. We may be able to beat the Wolves without him
