The Gordon hater is here—to eat crow. Gordon has been the best player on our team this series and the 1 guy whose gone 110% on both ends every game. If only other players were elevating their playoff play on the big stage like he’s been doing. Oh well.5 points

If this series makes us give up on Vuc then it will be worth it5 points

Unless Oladipo was castrated, he would still be playing with more balls than Evan Fournier.4 points

Vuch and Fournier are street trash. They’re soft pathetic frauds. I don’t want either on this team next year. If this playoffs were good for 1 thing it’s showing us who the duds officially are.3 points

I've been thinking a lot about how we can trade Fournier and I think the only reasonable situations would be teams already so far over the cap that they won't be able to improve by anything but a trade. For example the TWolves already have 109million commited next season and are locked in long term to KAT, Wiggins, Covington and Dieng and will probably try and bring back Tyus Jones as well. Would they do Fournier for Jeff Teague? They get more shooting and a guy who'd make a good 5th man or bench scorer. We get out of paying Fournier in 20-21 and a stop gap starting PG who kind of matches what we're trying to do. They already have over 90 million committed to 4 guys in 20-21 so they probably won't be players in free agency that year anyway so the extra year isn't that bad for them. Just a thought *shrug*.2 points

Time to ditch Vuch and Fournier and hand the keys to Gordon moving forward?2 points

I like our young core and I'm glad we fought for the playoffs instead of tanking for another draft pick.2 points

The Fultz optimism isn't coming from his college or high school tape, it's coming from what he's done in Philly. He's already shown the ability to defend and an explosive first step to get by a defender and draw help defense while also possessing the vision to find guys in traffic. So while we have no idea what his ceiling is, there's no reason he shouldn't at least be a better MCW1 point

Not to worry. There are so many threads and posts and some times you don't have time to go back and catch up on comments previously made. Just wanted you to know that you are not alone in that assessment.1 point

Absolutely not. Roll with Bamba. Core of Fultz, Isaac, Gordon and Bamba is the future.1 point
-
Yeah I was going to get into that before I got into a Twitter argument about that and had to abandon the post. Vuc can't be on this team next year even if he signs for the minimum. Vuc is a crutch that raises our floor but limits our ceiling and having him on the roster actively hurts our development. The reason for this is because with vucevic we play a style of basketball that we will completely abandon as soon as he's gone. The same way Grant and subsequently MCW are bad players but necessary to create our style of play on defense we need a center that plays like we should play in the future even if it's a net negative in talent. If that can be Bamba, great. If he's not ready we need a stop gap that fills that role. But role is important.1 point

Not gonna lie I'll be glad to switch over to draft mode for a little while. These games have me so heated. But I gotta tell you if we have a healthy Fultz, Isaac, Gordon, and Bamba next season it will be the FUNNEST Magic season in a long time, even if we dont win as many games. All 4 of those players should have some sort of physical advantage over 93% of the league at their respected positions1 point

You could also say Vuch has been outplayed by the fat, slow, ghost of Marc Gasol...Easily!1 point

Absolutely. I reckon he’s played 3 good games this year. 17mill a year FFS!!! He’s the last hennigan piece to go in a Years time.1 point

Toronto deserves credit. They’ve built an incredible roster. Love the experience our guys are getting, especially Isaac and Gordon. I think it’s pretty clear where our roster needs upgrades. Go Magic!1 point

I’ll eat all the crow and take all the “- 1”s for my previous post. The playoffs are hard....1 point

The only energy to like is Gordon's and Isaac. It looks like GOrdon has accepted losing the series but continues to play at a high level to stand out.1 point
-
Fultz has a lot of potential but in my opinion his ceiling is more of a John Wall, Derrick Rose type of guy. Not really sure you can contend with those guys1 point
-
Yes Ross is playing his best ball in a contract year. We decided to keep him and try to make a playoff push, which obviously we did. We lose that trade chip but gain playoff experience for half of our young core. Ross can catch fire but at his best he's a chucker thats turnover prone and has major lapses on defense.1 point
-
Strong disagree. He's been arguably the best all-around player on the team (46% shooting and he's made 6 threes) while doing about a good a job as he can on Kawhi. Gordon's game really suffers if Vucevic isn't doing anything so for him to be kind of decent all things considered so far is amazing.1 point
-
Is Ross in a contract year? Fournier needs to go all the way away from this team. I don't hate him. But his position in our starting lineup is a huge weakness. I like Ross, but probably not enough to give big money to if his contract is up. He's a replaceable piece. I like Vuc too and he's a big reason why we are here this year. But with Bamba as our future, I guess Vuc is also a replaceable piece. I hope Fultz turns into a productive piece. That will be huge for us. I hope that Carter-Williams stays around. I feel like he could be to us what Shaun Livingston is in Golden State. And I do like Augustin. Didn't always, but he's grown on me. I think a Fultz / Augustin / Carter-Williams rotation could be good.1 point

He has to guard Kawhi. Oh Kawhi is probably the best perimeter defender in the league. Guess who he's guarding? How many players play well against him?1 point

Ya know, sometimes the other team is just better... sometimes, significantly better. Just want to see us keep playing hard1 point

The Raptors are now punking the Magic. Its pathetic.1 point

Our problem in this series is that Toronto has good players and our players stink1 point

Hahaha! You too? (looking at me also). That was funny. I had to laugh Magicfan. . .I get that way sometimes. :) Edit: I can't stop laughing!1 point

Man....Members of this forum are as mentally weak as our team! Say something they don't like and you collect down votes like crazy! I'm not saying anything that's False....0 points

This series has been pretty sad for Gordon in general. He's mostly just having to guard Kawhi to somewhat mixed results.-1 points

Hate to say it, but we signed him to a tradeable contract for a reason...-1 points

Let's bring Kemba to Orlando. Wouldn't that be nice Magic fans ?-1 points

In the last quarter the Magic will make a mini run while the Raptors are bored but not much to see here. The focus now should be on how can we make this basketball better moving forward ?-1 points

What happened to T-Ross ? I was watching the baseball game on espn.-1 points
-
I suppose its part of the rite of passage. We aren't mentally ready for the playoffs. Our Veterans are mentally weak. Hoping we gut this team and build around BIG. If Fultz recovers he can be part of the core moving forward. Let Vuch and Ross walk, trade Fournier. We won't sniff the playoffs the next few years but we would be in a better place as our core develops.-2 points
-
Magic chances of winning this game tonight ? Negative Nancy point 2 percent. They have no chance. NONE.-2 points
-
What is really disappointing is that we failed to reach 100 points in all 4 losses after winning the first game and scoring over 100.-3 points

I'm not watching the game right now because I know it's over. You guys make me believe that the Magic got it down to a 3 point game or something judging by your comments. Then I check the score and they're still down by 15!-6 points
