AB really isn’t doing much on the offensive end tonight. He dribbles the ball slowly up the court, hangs around for a few seconds, then just dumps it off. He is just not the kind of quick guard who darts in and out of the opponent defense that we need.

Sorry everyone, this one's on me. I checked to see how we were doing, saw we were up sorta big and looking like we could play basketball...then we started losing.

Yes unless it’s praise for everything Magic. Lolololol

What do you mean? Never post and don’t discuss anything on a message board?

Have anyone saw the game winning shot Pacers executed over bucks? those offensive sets are beautiful to watch. It it were magic, we Paolo would be inbounding and all 4 others ar just waiting on their specific position sans Franz. Mosely should be taking notes. His days as a motivational speaker is over, he needs to coach now.

AB isn’t a PG at all. I’m honestly not sure what position he is. And he’s so raw. We’re ready to compete now and he and Jett simply are not. If a rebuilding team wants to give us a vet for one of them I’m tempted to do it. Colin Sexton, Coby White or Anfernee Simons are the dead horses I’ll continue to beat for that.

Exactly! Thank you!!!! By the way: When the Magic's second unit entered the game last night, that's when the Pelicans' backups went on a run and cut into our 30 pt. lead 10 pts+.

Joseph just seems to play the basic role of setting the table, hitting open shots, and giving us serviceable defense. I'd play him in the starting lineup the rest of the year, too. As for AB, I like him but I'm not even sure he's a PG. And honestly, I'd rather not see Cole again on the court. Lol

Agreeing with all the sentiments of if this is how we play when Cory Joseph runs point guard, imagine bringing in some one who isn’t a journeyman. All we need is someone to continue pushing the pace and that can hit open shots, he’s doing both well, and he should probably keep starting over Cole and AB for the rest of the season. We just can’t let teams get set in their half court defense or else we’re done for. Also, Paolo and Franz are very very good. Paolo 3rd in the nba in ppg since the all-star break on good efficiency and shooting percentages. If he can hit free throws consistently at 75% he’s gonna be a 30 ppg scorer with his eyes closed

With Franz and Paulo on board, we're beyond playing/losing for a lotto pick. I personally like seeing the two continue to grind and get better. Paulo's numbers over his last 10 are very impressive: 27.9, 6.5, 4.1 with shooting lines of 49.2/37.3/80.2.

4d chess from Paolo and Franz making Cory Joseph of all people look competent as a starter (bit unfair tbh Cory was good) can roll out the old "if we play this well with Cory Joseph at PG imagine how we'll play with an actually good PG".

With Paolo Banchero's 24 points and Franz Wagner's 20, tonight marks the first time in franchise history during the play-by-play era (since 1996-97) that two #Magic players have scored 20+ points in the first half of a game. Via twitter

I thought it was all about not disrupting the cohesive atmosphere that these players have developed over the last two or three years. Lol i guess winning matters. Who would’ve thunk it?

Don’t worry. The season is quickly forgotten and hope springs eternal over the summer, even if we don’t change anything.

Great L. I’m in tanking mode. Mosley is.. i dunno how to say it nicely. He’s throwing out darts on his lineups. Howard back in the doghouse for little reason. Caleb Houstan suddenly getting first off the bench. Played alongside TDS and one of them had to defend Sengun. That was at the end of the first. During the break, i thought to myself “no way in hell can he go back to that”. But to my surprise, at the beginning of the second they still roll out Houstan and TDS. that’s batsh*t crazy. Well he than noticed it ain’t working, so Isaac got to play. Isaac basically locked Sengun down. This just shows he has no concept. Houston played zone defense and we had no clue what to do. No accountability whatsoever. Paolo taking like 5 step back threes, for no reason. Franz going crazy with the awkward shots. Cole doing Cole things. We again, have no concept…

How Mose takes out Franz and Paulo together and puts in a total bench lineup to end the 1st quarter gets me. Houston then went on a 13-0 run. That little bit right there shows he’s not a great coach. To this end, do we think anyone holds him accountable during the year? I’d be curious to understand what that looks like.

I honestly think we've reached "everything that can be said about this team has been said about this team" territory. We all know what we need. We all know what we'd have liked at the deadline. We all know injuries suck. We all know who we'd like to move on from (there's some debate between folks on this but most of those conversations have happened already and minds likely won't be changed). We all know this season has sucked. We all know Mose's flaws. We all know Weltman's flaws. We all know that this season likely ends with us in the play in game and then a first round out. I'm begging for us to make moves this summer just so there are new things to talk about.

He can kick rocks with Dell. If he thinks Wendell f ing Carter is a winning basketball player then he is either very naive or delusional. His choice.
