not a huge fan of this all star game. didn't like the kobe/durant vs Lebron/Amar'e game. I want to see more dunks, more fun, more crazy passing. It sucks to see lebron put his head down at half court and drive to the basket. and chase, Dwight didn't play a pass first game, he played an "i dont care" game. He put some effort in early but when it turned into the guard game he often didn't jog past half court.

right. If you don't want to nitpick you could say that rose/noah is similar to iverson/mutumbo, but Boozer, Deng, and their bench has no comparison to the 00-01 sixers.

Teams that must play their top 3 players 42+ minutes per game and have a significant drop off in talent from their starting roster to their bench have a difficult time in the playoffs. I'd expect Lebron and Wade to have a couple monster games, but we should be able to tire them out in a 7 game series.

My opinion is we have something around a 35% chance to beat boston in a 7 game series with both teams healthy and boston getting home court advantage. It would be an upset to beat them, they should be favored, but its not an event that has some extreme odds of happening.

yeah this is pretty much what I thought. You could argue that dwight is one of the best centers of all time only if you properly define what "best" is. If best is top 5 then no. If best is top 10 or top 15 then yes.

Not to mention Randolph leads the charge of "guys who don't do anything to help their team win other than score points for themselves".

Its a game you can put 8 hours straight into without realizing it. I haven't played in a while though. I liked it at first. Definitely something everyone should check out.

Anytime you can pay a 34 year old guy who's 6'3 double what you pay a 29 year old who's 6'0 you gotta do it. Those three inches are integral to winning a championship.
