If you want to be miffed, I remember reading that one of the reasons we traded Dipo was because he was a ball dominant guard and couldn't coexist with Payton. Thus, we re-signed Fournier instead. What a mess.

This team will be fully healthy soon and we will win ourselves out of a top 3 pick and probably even a top 5 pick. Which is literally what we continue to do every freaking year.

Vuc back starting and Biz to the bench makes both units worse so hopefully we dont win too much. Depends if Gordon remembers how to shoot or not.

So you wanted us to continue to play EP so we can tank? On paper that makes sense but in developing players it's a terrible idea. I personally believe EP's deficiencies have hampered this team for years and have also caused poor trade decisions, too. I wish him the best but am ready to hit reset at that position.

The fully healthy team (aside from Ross) got pasted throughout December and January. The team has won lately due to energy guys like Simmons, Biyombo, Birch and Iwundu playing solid minutes. Once lazy Vucevic is back and him and Fournier enable each other's bad habits we'll be back in the toilet.

Unless they knew the draft was going to be this good this year and were planning on tanking for a great PG, taking the skinny kid that we can't even play instead of taking DSJ , then topping it off by trading away picks for garbage already had me very skeptical. The FA signings, especially Simmons, had me sorta back on board with a "let's see what they do" attitude. If we come out of this deadline with no new faces I think I'm gonna pick a middle of the pack team and be a new fan. there is nothing magic about the Magic anymore.

Between the draft, Mario, this deadline, and when we inevitably win ourselves out of a top 3 pick I might have to take a hiatus again. Can’t deal with it anymore.

Why? We're faced with a deadline less than 5 hours from now of get something or just watch him go in the offseason because we've made up our minds that he's not in our future plans. You'll trade him for whatever you can get that doesn't harm your future plans and you'll like it.

It give me hopes on Mario. Maybe he will sign for a 5 mill per year contract. hopefully teams use Lou contract as a starting point for this offseason.

i really feel we should some how some way go hard after Isaiah Thomas. He doesn't belong on the cavs they need to trade him hes proven hes worth a solid chance. I take his ability to score all day even with the defensive liability at his position we can cover down with other good defenders if we piece it together properly.

Memphis' 2018 2nd rounder should land at 34-38. Yep, that's about Payton's value.

The team is better when career backups and also-rans DJ Augustin and Shelvin Mack play ahead of Payton. He's also needs a new contract after 3 months. His value was ostensibly nothing. I wished we could've swindled Scott Perry but a decent 2nd round pick that'll be in the 30s is about as good as we could've done with a guy who isn't good.

I wish we could've unloaded the entire team for 2nd round picks while only keeping AG & Isaac. Then added 13 G-league players because well thats what this team is anyways so go all in on sucking. Heckuva time to be a Magic fan! :)

Better prepare for it because that's exactly what's gonna happen. Don't worry we'll maximize it by trading Bridges for a 2nd rounder. Hate this *****ing organization.
