It's going to be scary especially in the last season of so, there'll be a lot of speculation. For now, we can just enjoy the moment and catch our opportunities that lies ahead.

Kind of smart from Paolo to align his timeline with Franz and Jalen. The player option is always going to be scary to Magic fans but we have this core for 5 years. If we haven't won by then Paolo would likely be requesting a trade either way player option or not. And if we do win at least one everything that happens after that is secondary to the fact that we won a championship finally.

Not loving that P’s deal includes a player option.

This just in: Breaking: Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero has agreed to a five-year maximum rookie contract extension that could reach $287 million, Mike Miller of LIFT Sports Management tells ESPN. Deal includes a player option

If there is a Herb Jones trade out there, you have to do that! Adding to this incredible defense would be awesome. That second unit defense would be scary. AB-Jones-Isaac (trimmed down) If we manage to keep Bitadze in the process?! Whhoooweeeee. Jett+TDS for Herb Jones I actually like TDS a lot. I’d do it for Herb

i wouldnt make any other trade i like bitadze way more than wcj, for the moment. wcj should become a tyson chandler type now that we have stars around him to justify his contract i would give jett 1 more season before giving up on him

Before diving into our chat with Tyus Jones and Jeff Weltman, along with video from summer league practice, I wanted to share that #Magic rookie Jase Richardson has a sore right ankle but is “progressing well,” per coach Ameer Bahhur, who added they’re “not too worried about it.”

Good read, I agree with the writer, having so much media noise around ATL and the prize being a mystery Porzingis

Guessing the Clippers are getting Beal with that trade making room for him in the rotation.
-
He's washed. And we don't have the space.
-
Kevin Love as a back up when he gets waived? I would bet 90% chance he gets waived but waits till in season to sign with someone.

Magic number one in this article. https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2025/7/7/24462740/nba-teams-got-better-offseason-ranked-rockets-hawks-magic-spurs

Going to be 33 next season, probably not willing to extend him for big money, so they've traded it as an expiring?
-
What are the Jazz and Clippers doing here exactly? Powell is by far the best player in this trade.
-
Heat get - Norman Powell Clippers get - John Collins Jazz get - Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson, 2027 second-round pick

It doesn't look like Caleb will be back with Tyus Jones selecting to wear #2.

Lately I've cooled on trading Jett in a dump if it's just to bring back Caleb or add a random vet minimum who you still wouldn't want to see on the court. Jett has been bad but there's still like a 10% chance he figures it out in year 3 and that's probably worth paying 5.5mil versus giving up an asset to dump him to pay someone else who we'd hope not to play. But if there was an impact vet who'd be willing to take something like the vet minimum then that's definitely the play. Beal is a great example.
-
Trade Jett, sign a bought out Beal for the minimum, get the banners ready

You forgot where it says Magic: Steph Curry.

PHX: Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Khaman Maluach, Rasheer Fleming, Koby Brea, Daeqwon Plowden, 2nd HOU: Kevin Durant, Clint Capela BKN: 2 2nds GSW: Alex Toohey, Jahmai Mashack ATL: 2nd swap, David Roddy, cash LAL: Adou Thiero MIN: Rocco Zikarsky, 2 2nds, cash Terms of the first ever NBA trade involving seven teams.

Somewhat agree. But for Jett the time is up. Right now we might be able to sell him for upside. But he’s extension eligible soon and unding think we offer him a qualifying offer. So he’ll walk away in FA
