  1. I think is a trade both teams had to make. Clippers had a chance a Chris Paul and IMO it would have been stupid not throwing everything into it (Except Griffin, of course). League had to save face, the got an expiring and cheap guys to cover the positions. They get to field a team until the team is sold and keep costs down. Also, lots of people seem to be high on Gordon so I guess they also got a guy to market.
  2. Aminu - crap Kaman- crap they've been trying to trade for the last 3 years Gordon - decent pick - decent I say meh.
  3. Bosh is a pathetic excuse of a big man. I've watched him during this losing streak and the guy couldn't play any softer. I kind of feel for the Raptors, having this as a first option at one point.
  4. What I do? For some reason I really enjoy it when the Magic lose to the Pistons, especially with our museum of players. I'll savor this one, the next won't be coming for a while.
  5. Please, please, please, please!
  6. Which I think it's fantastic coming from a center. In such an offensively guided league it's great to see guys that take pride in defensive effort.
  7. I take it backwards. If he was a 90% ft shooter I could see how he could have a problem with his routine being broken. But he is a bad ft shooter so I don't see what's the big deal for him. The problem with this call is not that it's the wrong one but that it's not enforced properly. Like traveling, lots of perimeter players travel both when attacking the basket and doing spin moves. However, the call is made so rarely that when it does happen they feel cheated. So the solution is calling it every time. While for quicker moves, like the spin move, It may be difficult getting it right, the 10 second rule is far more easy to enforce.
  8. As a first pick he is a bust, but once you manage to look past that Kwame is a serviceable big, with good size and good defense. At this point, I don't get the hate. I was satisfied with what he did in Detroit and think he would be a decent defensive big off the bench.
  9. I'd do that trade, with some protection. If that went down, I'd root for the Magic in the playoffs. I'm a bit of a Smith fan girl, but I think he would be worth the risk. Gortat is overrated IMO and Pachulia could do a decent job giving Dwight some rest. If Howard were to go down with an injury, I don't think whether it is Gortat or Pachulia replacing him would make too much difference.
  10. What a stupid thing to do. Who would have thrown big money at Conley in the offseason?
  11. No, I don't think creationism should be taught in a science class. And I do agree with the Hedo hater, a worlds religion kind of class could be really helpful in how we relate to other cultures and shine a bit understanding on our own.
  12. I don't care for the Cavs, but that was dirty. Yes, their biggest event was the departure of their franchise player who also happens to be arguably the best player in the league. But there were ways to spin that. Make it about the Cavs instead of hanging on to Lebron.
  13. He seems like a guy who will stay. Although it would be pretty funny if he continued down his Shaq replica path and left for LA.
  14. We really could use another SF
  15. Guys should be more careful where they put their penises. Especially if its a famous and rich penis.
  16. I'm a dumarian. My faith is being tested.
  17. Sad thing is that I'm not surprised about that. It was sad watching Arroyo play hurt at the SG spot towards the end of the game against Russia, particularly knowing that we have 3 guys that could have done a much better job.
  18. Yes because Lebron would eventually leave you to play with his friends.
  19. PR could surprise someone, Manolo (our coach) will do us in though. His insistence of playing Arroyo and Barea as our starting guards is a problem. I like our young crop which may use this tournament to establish themselves on the team. If our vets allow them, of course.
  20. Definitely a good option. I see absolutely no downside to adding Iverson.
  21. I don't get why NO does this.
  22. He was an iron man until the Pistons decided to employ the brilliant idea of playing their paper thin SF at the power forward position.
  23. I'd do it. I'm not particularly high on Gortat, but we need a center badly. Rip is probably our best guard, but the Pistons are already paying Gordon 10 millions, plus he is a veteran who would be best in a contender. Tay is the guy that does it all for us, but we already have 3 young players who can fill his position. These guys just don't fit with us anymore and we'd be better off if they are moved. If Carter could break an ankle on his first game, then I think the trade could work for us.
  24. They have been shopping them for years, and no, apparently no one is interested. Actually people have been interested in Prince, they just haven't made an offer that interests Dumars.
  25. What!?
