Drunk let me weigh in here with some thoughts.. You seem well read have you ever heard of Ravi Zacharias or C.S. Lewis or Lee Stroebel? I challenge you to read one of their books if you were inclined to have a more concrete understanding than us tryine to debate atheisim or not. Though i do have a few quotes that might make you interested enough to read more of these authors. "To sustain the belief that there is no God, atheism has to demonstrate infinite knowledge, which is tantamount to saying, "I have infinite knowledge that there is no being in existence with infinite knowledge" --Ravi Zacharias C's Lewis was professing atheist before he realized that he could just not explain away even the mere presence of some kind of infinite being. My argument against God was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. What was I comparing this universe with when I called it unjust? If the whole show was bad and senseless from A to Z, so to speak, why did I, who was supposed to be part of the show, find myself in such violent reaction against it? A man feels wet when he falls into water, because man is not a water animal: a fish would not feel wet. Of course, I could have given up my idea of justice by saying that it was nothing but a private idea of my own. But if I did that, then my argument against God collapsed too--for the argument depended on saying that the world was really unjust, not simply that it did not happen to please my private fancies. Thus in the very act of trying to prove that God did not exist--in other words, that the whole of reality was senseless--I found I was forced to assume that one part of reality--namely my idea of justice--was full of sense. Consequently atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.--C.S. I disagree... They might scan this once every few months. Which means they missed some of the most deep and insightful thoughts some of us may have had on page 3 of "Come on home Vince!" I think if they were to interact with us it would open up a whole new level of accountability and they wouldnt like to have their opinions critiscized or confronted. 10-20 members out of 1000+ on this board give an insightful commentary on why brian hill should be traded, re-assigned, or promoted. The other 1000+ say fire **** brian hill, he sux ***. Now if they opened up limited discussion such as lets say this week otis will have a chat online with some of us, we're still gonna get the same answers like "i think Brians doing a great job" "I fully expect brian to fullfill his contractual obligations". However if they opened up fan input on various trade scenarios and maybe put some restrictions on them so that you dont have people saying trade lebron for arroyo stuff, that might be cool. I mean if he is willing to listen to real scenarios from people like us just for the purpose of maybe seeing something from another side that would be awesome. I dont know people come up with other ideas that would be beneficial for RDV to do with out to much negativity or criticism backlash from fans pushing them away. Even if they posed a hypothetical question such as "Who shoudl we hire as new coach, and why" (after they fire brian hill of course) or "who should we draft in the second round" topics on our forums with maybe the moderators weeding out real responses from frivoluos ones and forwarding the responses on to otis, and to actually have him respond would be great~!

I was actually saying that he is making 15 million after taxes...if we offered him 12 (like courtskills said) it would only be 3 million off or 25% refer to other post for more info...

Let me make it more real for you... If you live in New Jersey and you make 50,000 a year. You pay 4,300 of it to the state. Meaning you take home 45,700 before all other taxes (federal, FICA, SSI). Now imagine a company will offer you 38,500 to relocate for the same job in a company with tremendous up swing and you will be able to retire in your own hometown. Also because you've relocated to florida there is no state tax, you make 38,500 then subtract your taxes (federal, FICA, SSI). on top off all that you will be close to your children and wont have to wait till the summer to see them, or never meet their friends, but you will be there for guidance and other important things. On top of that your company is offering you other bonuses to make up about 4k or 5k so the differnce in salary is not to great in the end. Oh one more thing... Real Estate is 30-40% cheaper in this state then New Jersey. Now you have other avenues to invest your money. Last but not least the home that you do own in florida, you will be able to spend all your time there, plus the weather is better in orlando. Now which company will you work for??
