At least we don't have to see any more AG for Westbrook trade ideas.

MY Favorite Magic Players That 'I' (ME) Look Forward To Watching Next Season: DJ Augustine *underrated* Aaron Gordon Jonathan Isaac Terrence Ross Wes Iwandu *underrated* Khem Birch Michael Carter-Williams *underrated* Amile Jefferson Reasons For My Choices: 1. They play hard 2. They are not selfish and play as a team. 3. They have shown flashes of playing modern-day NBA basketball. . .lots of ball movement, touching as many hands to find the open man. 4. Have shown that they can play uptempo. 5. Most are athletic. 6. Leaving it all out there on the floor. JUST FUN TO WATCH!!! Not Included Because They Either Have Not Played On The Team Yet or Limited Playing Time: Mo Bamba (Limited playing time) Markelle Fultz (Has not played) Chuma Okeke (Has not played)

Absolutely shocked this list did not include Vuc and Fournier. lol. Loved the last three in the "too early to tell" category. But I hope all three end up in that description list of "play hard". Great part of this list is it is most of our team. I am pretty sure Okeke will make this list. I think Fultz, if healthy, will play with a chip on his shoulder (that is my best guess), and Bamba, saying the right things during summer league (along with a pretty impressive first game on offense (not defense)) and adding on 20 pounds of muscle is headed in the right direction. Kind of intrigued to watch Bamba/Vuc version 2 that Clifford said we would try again this year. And finally looking forward to see if, when Fournier dribbles around the perimeter, wasting 1/2 the shot clock, before dumping it to his buddy, Clifford sits Fournier's rear end on the bench? I hope their is a short leash on that garbage this year.

Not saying I hope Fultz doesn't come on or that we don't need an upgrade but I agree on Augustine. Some games he cracks me up, LOL. I love it when they back off defensively and he just drives and drives to the hoop until they take it away. I understand it's a PGs job to get his teammates involved but sometimes I wish he would do it more.

Houston is like a year from being the early 2000s magic and 3 years from being a dumpster fire.

Probably because we jumped early and offered him that third year before other teams got their act together.

We haven't had any cap room from like 1992-1999, 2000-2007, 2008-2015, 2017-present. So all the times we had major cap room the result was: 1. Didn't get anyone because we were an expansion team 2. Grabbed 2 of the top 3 guys on the market. 3. Grabbed an all star and our number one target 4. Couldn't pull in Paul Millsap 5. Blew all of our money on crap players. So when we can sell winning+money+location we usually get guys. When we can't sell winning we can't get guys. So it's not wrong to try and win now. We need to be able to sell Fultz, Isaac, Bamba and Gordon as pieces of a championship roster just missing their star. Or Fultz and Isaac as the main pieces on the roster with the rest of the guys going to another team in a trade to pair the free agent with a second guy. But we need to create the room before any of this is possible

It's a funny feeling, being a Magic fan, that while all of this is true, it doesn't make for a strictly black and white argument. It's either been a feast or a famine for the teams Orlando puts out. We've been very good very quickly and for short periods. We've been absolutely horrible for stretches. What we haven't really had is like a few years of mediocrity in this "new NBA" where the perfect storm of OK team a few pieces away combined with cap space and opportunity. This may be what the next 4 years is about for this team. Getting incrementally better, betting on continuity and a bright future - while still being mildly competitive now. If all goes well, 5 years from now the kids will all be amidst their primes and Vuc can be our David Lee lol

Birch will be lucky to even suit up every night let alone make an impact on the court barring injury. I've been a Birch fan since his college days but some of you guys are a bit delusional with the amount of playing time he's going to get.
