Trevor Ariza's Foot Problems Re-Surface In LA

Recommended Posts

This news + Evans and Cook playing good ball lately...I'm not going to jump the gun, but this may be working out for us better than a lot of us initially thought.

Forward Trevor Ariza was diagnosed with a fractured bone in his right foot after hurting it today at practice. Ariza will see foot specialist Kenneth Jung on Monday, at which point a timetable for his return will be determined.

It was unclear exactly how Ariza injured the fourth metatarsal in his foot, but he apparently came down on Lamar Odom's foot.

"He got tangled up with Lamar," Coach Phil Jackson said a few minutes after Ariza left practice for X-rays at Centinela Hospital Medical Center.

Wow! Good find BRich!!

Is that the same foot that he had some kind of arthritic problem in?

Not wishing injury on anyone but if this turns out like it could Otis may not look so bad afterall.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the right foot is the one he has a history of problems with.

And likewise, I still like Trevor. I wouldn't wish it on him. But I'd also like to know that our GM may have outmaneuvered somebody.

I do feel for the kid, he was making a difference on that Lakers squad. For the second part of the equation, I do think Otis knew (the foot) was an issue and traded him while his value was at a high point! Sad, but good move Otis!

This makes the trade look better for the Magic. Evans and Cook have no signs of injury whatsoever.

Ariza fanatics?

Otis critics?

Where are you?

At least in this instance it looks as if Otis may be winning.

A young guy with chronic foot structural problems is not a good sign.
