Shane had 25 at the half, Osprey. Overall, I thought we did a good job on him, in the SECOND HALF! Still, that last three was a dagger... Another game that could have been. NBA officials are easily the worst in sports.
~O~ 565 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 Dwight had horrible free throw shooting night again and now the Magic are 0-8 when he shoots less that 50 percent at the line. Dwight better get back on targer before it turns into December Deja - vu. Why wasn't didn't JJ play? Didn't Stan see the offense was struggling out their. Keyon's energy was way off and he almost fouled out of the game. W.T.F. Turkoglu, don't force it into Dwight! (TO) His judgement is has been utterly horrible the past couple of games even though we won. Lewis showed up for the game unlike Turkoglu who sucked today. This loss hurts..... And how could the ****ing official miss the call at the end of the game. BS. These refs have some sorta conspiracy against us. I think Jameer should start cause Arroyo was nowhere near the point guard that Jameer was today. Well, I"m over this loss, the Magic lose two straight...........hope we don't let atlanta pass us. The Solution 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/marty_bur...ointments/index.html FROM: MartyBurns>INSIDE THE NBA Better days ahead? Assessing which slow starters are ripe for turnaround Posted: Thursday January 3, 2008 4. Rockets: With a new offensive-minded coach in Rick Adelman, many expected Tracy McGrady- and Yao Ming-led Houston to challenge the Spurs, Mavs and Suns for the top spot in the West. Instead, the Rockets have mostly fizzled in falling to 10th in the conference. Houston ranks 21st in scoring (94.8) and 25th in field goal percentage (43.6) as Adelman has been unable to recreate anything close to the flowing offenses he had during his Sacramento days. Like the other teams on this list, the Rockets can blame the schedule for part of their woes; they arguably have faced the toughest slate of any team in the league, playing 19 of their first 32 games on the road. Houston will pick it up in the second half as it faces lesser foes and Adelman gets a chance to further tweak his system. But one gets the sense that the T-Mac/Yao pairing isn't going to meet those preseason expectations -- not with subpar point guards and McGrady continually in and out of the lineup with various ailments. ............................................................. The Magic have had 20 of 34 on the road... are we poised to improve our record?
Live or Die Magic 383 Report post Posted January 4, 2008 No T-Mac? If Yao and Howard can neutralize each other, should lead to a winnable game. Kinda like the Nets game, right?
