I’d be all over Huerter..

And in FA we have our eyes on Monk.

Didn’t think Huerter would be available. But now include him on my realistic list..

Huerter is a myth on defense

Yeah, but we’ve built a team full of strong defenders to be able to afford to have a guy like that.

Huerter has been very inconsistent, just like our own starters. We need either a specialist who really knocks them down or an all around guy. Not another "potential" shooter.

Obviously the dream is we actually go all in and get Anfernee Simons somehow.  Since he is probably not available then a guy like Brogdon or Tyus Jones would be better.

Brogdon will be traded at some point since they simply do not need him. Getting someone like him is just about deciding if we want to outbid the competition. Tyus Jones would be a better move. But the Wizards don't have to trade him, he is the only actual point guard on the roster and they just paid him.

Other then that it's all on the management. They can easily go out and get somebody or just punt the deadline. Guys are available.

Making the play in would be great for team development but i think we need to make a move to get there.

I disagree with all of this haha. Brogdon would be a better move in my opinion.

Washington didn't just pay him, Memphis paid him and then traded him to Washington. He's an expiring contract so they do have to trade him or lose him for free.

And Washington don't actually care about winning so having no other PGs isn't a problem for them they can easily make up PG mins with Poole or Delon Wright (or likely we'd include Markelle in any trade anyway).

Brogdon seems like just the combo guard we need, and he is, but Tyus is sneaky good too and having his best season from 3 this year.

So Franz is out at least 2-3 weeks with that sprain. He’ll probably be back in what? 5 weeks?

We need to go out and „safe“ our season. No panic trade, but make the right moves and strengthen this team. Houstan and Okeke ain’t going to cut it for us.

Im actually putting Harris, Okeke, Houstan, Howard, Bitadze on the block.  I‘m willing to include Fultz and Isaac if it’s a major trade like Simons.

But multiple players are reported to be available.

SAC: Huerter, Barnes, Mitchell

TOR: Siakam, GTJ

WAS: T.Jones, Kispert?

GSW: Kuminga, Moody, Wiggins?

ATL: D. Murray

DET: ?

UTAH: Clarkson, Markannen, Sexton, Olinyk

There is definitely some options out there. Some are good fits, some are great fits, some would just strengthen us but remain a work in progress for shooting.

My favorite trade out there would be T. Jones and Kispert. That would instantly help us. The long term fit with T. Jones as a backup is questionable though.

I’d definitely be down if we made business with the Warriors. Shooting would be iffy, but Wiggins and Kuminga ain’t terrible in that regard and they would definitely thrive on our roster.

Trading WCJ makes too much sense as it will help clear up our logjam in the front court and bring back some available assets. Let’s see if we pull the trigger and get the playmaker/floor spacer we desperately need.
