The timing of this would be so representative of the rebuild. 1 spot back or 1 day late. THERE'S STILL A CHANCE

and because there is still a chance, I don't know why we don't wait this out another week?

There waiting for teams to make there hires

Doing nothing with less talent is still doing nothing

Not sure he's done nothing. He gets his teams into the playoffs and honestly never had the roster Thibs did.

Why does it seem like youre so anti Skiles and pro Thibs if they have both essentially done nothing? Do you see a wide margin between the two?

Exactly. Like Skiles wouldn't have been able to do the same job Thibs did in Chi. What exactly has Thibs accomplished that Skiles hasn't? Hmmmmm. Sure his winning record is better, but again, Skiles hasn't been anywhere near a team that loaded before.

But no Thibs is a much better coach than Skiles. Skiles burns bridges with players and MGMT. Yet Thibs is the one getting run out of a job in Chicago. Their fans and MGMT don't like him. But he's on a different level than Skiles in every which way.

Sarcasm.

Using Thibs or Skiles had beef with Chicago's FO is a bad example. Chicago's FO clashes with every coach they hire at some point.

he had a team projected as worse in the east and got them to the playoffs. That is something in my opinion.

Thibs was my top choice, but skiles and keeping our assets, is just as good. I like Skiles Xs and Os. I'm not big on his player relations.

Don't act like the difference between Thibs and Skies is negligible. Skiles is a huge risk, his win percentage is a full 15% less than Thibs. You think that's an accident? Not like Thibs has been working with the 98' Bulls or anything, he's done great things with a mediocre Rose-Less Bulls team.

Skiles is a fine backup but anyone choosing him straight up against Thibs is ridiculous.
