If Beal misses 20 games than obviously there is a chance. But one could equally say maybe Beal stays healthy, both Wall and Beal are better (Wall 24, Beal just 22), and Wizards go +8. Porter should be better too.

Sure they could easily be better. I'm not saying it's 100% that they miss the playoffs. But it's probably 45%

I would be both shocked and excited if both Raptors and Wizards missed the playoffs. That would probably mean we get in. Don't think either of them will miss but crazier things have happened.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I think Toronto could fall apart next year. I think Carroll was a good pick-up for them, but losing Lou Williams will hurt, and I've always thought that team was solidly built on shifting sand. They could also be really good this year, but everyone on that team is an enigma in one way or another. Kyle Lowry has always seemed like he's one bad shooting slump or sprained ankle away from being a real problem. And that's their All-Star. Just a weird team.

You don't see Cory Joseph as a difference maker?smile_shardhappy.png

That's true I keep forgetting they added Caroll for some reason. They should be a lock too. If were getting in, it's because we beat out Boston or BRK.

Cavs

Bulls

Hawks

Raptors

Bucks

Wizards

Should all be safe bets to make it, barring unpredictable injuries.

Add Miami and the Pacers and there are your Eastern Conference playoff teams.

Hill

Ellis

George

Turner

Mahimi

Or

Payton

Dipo

Harris

Gordon

Vuc

Not sure I'd take us in a series but we'd have a good chance. AG matches up with George so we can hide Tobias on a rookie. Get Mahinmi in foul trouble early if you can and they don't have anyone who can guard Vuc down low.

Fsu just stole a basketball recruit from Kentucky. I accept all F$U $eminole$ remarks as valid criticism.

From my understanding, he was a UF lock up until Billy Donovan left for OKC. Either way, it's pretty awesome

As far as lineup goes...

I think we'll go with

Payton/Dipo/Harris/Gordon/Vuc

Agreed. Harris, Vuc and Mario doesn't offer much defense in the front court. If (and its a big IF) Gordon is the future of the franchise, he only grows with playing time. Roll him out there and give him the minutes. Best case scenario is that Mario has to force his way into the starting 5. If he doesn't get a starting spot by default, then this team has some major decisions to make.

Seems to me that Mario's success would make Fournier a trade deadline asset. Even if he is part of the rotation, it seems as though he needs to be cashed in for an asset sooner rather than later.
