The OFFICIALish Training Camp Thread.

I agree. Oladipo is the perfect hustle/morale guy, but not the one we want leading the offense. Hark/Dipo on the wings, Harris/Vuc front court and a stud running point would be solid in another two or three years. I actually wouldn't mind if Oladipo became a perennial sixth man candidate, which would allow for a more potent starting lineup.

I'd like something similar. I'd love to add one of the strong forwards in this upcoming draft (Wiggins, Randle, Jabari) and have Tobias backing up both forward spots

Just looked through yesterdays box scores. The rosters of Phili and Utah are unbelievable. It will be a real challenge for the Magic to get in the top 5, I mean bottom 5.

Yeah, I was doing research for the fantasy league and there are some teams that are just disgustingly bad. I had Sacramento and Milwaukee finishing in the bottom 5-10 but after looking through their rosters, I don't know if they'll even be "good" enough for that

Milwaukee's roster doesn't seem terrible to me, though you know you aren't going far if your highest paid player is Marcus Thornton. It's kinda early to do this but I think Utah will outperform expectations, but still be lottery bound. They have like 23 players on their roster...

I agree on Utah.

Philly might have the worst non expansion team in the last 25 years

The Orlando Magic will open their NBA preseason schedule Wednesday night at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena with a lot more than getting experience and winning an exhibition game in mind.

The team said it has long-range hopes of possibly making the First Coast the home of their minor league program.

The Magic, who will play the New Orleans Pelicans at 7, have an interest in moving its NBA Development League team to Jacksonville, team CEO Alex Martins said Tuesday.

“We’ve made it clear to the [NBA] league we’d like to make this happen,” Martins said.

Joel Lamp, of Jacksonville University’s business development and communications department, confirmed the city wants a D-League franchise and is working to make that happen.

They'd be more interesting to watch than the Jags.

Again the Thunder model of having a D League franchise in the same state. Makes it a lot easier to send rookies to play some D League games without cutting them off from the main team.

Heck they could have them practice at the RDV and bus them up for games.

OT: Does anybody know if I can get the NBA League Pass package where you can watch just the games of one team? I can't seem to find it anywhere and it will cost me double what I paid last year to get full league pass (which I cant afford really)

I've never heard of that option before. If it does exist, I would be interested as well.

I have never heard of such a thing, but I like the idea.
