Bauncey Chillups 288 Report post Posted June 21, 2011 Atlanta has no use for Jameer what with Hinrich being pretty solid and the emergence of Jeff Teague in the playoffs.
Miller4Prez66 545 Report post Posted June 21, 2011 I'm hoping for draft night because I can't take the anticipation anymore, but July 1st would be my personal sanity deadline. Pretty much. People will probably complain if draft night passes without a move, but if nothing is done by July 1st there will be a LOT of complaining and panic. Everyone is feeling the pressure of Dwight's FA. The future of this franchise is on the line.

Jareth Cutestory 678 Report post Posted June 21, 2011 JoshuaBRobbins Josh Robbins @ @cb1115 My gut feeling is that they have tried and will try to make a move that improves the team. My guess: nothing earth-shattering. 2 minutes ago

30Assists 342 Report post Posted June 21, 2011 Just saw Chad Ford's 2 round Mock... He has us taking Scotty Hopson That would be a cool pick, but after about the 8th pick, it's all just guessing anyways. Scotty would be a good pick up for us, though, no question. tkranole 19 Report post Posted June 21, 2011 We don't need to deal with Atlanta guys. Just because Dwight has friends that he wants to play with the only way he is going to be happy is if the players that come in want to win a title and strive for that every night. We need to make the moves that are best for this team and it will work out. No Boozer, Josh Smith or Monta Ellis. Start clearing cap ASAP so that we already have a jump on the amnesty clause. CP3 or bust! :xmas:
MagicMan27 12 Report post Posted June 21, 2011 Does the 125% rule apply to TE's? If so then our TE would be worth 7mil which would make a Turk and Anderson for Smith then our TE for Marvin a better deal

CP3 or bust! :xmas: In order to get CP3 we are going to need to make a LOT of moves for expiring deals now with unknowns of a CBA, it isn't that easy. Dwight has said he wants Josh Smith, if you can get him, GET HIM. It is incredibly difficult to clear the amount of cap space we need to clear in such a short amount of time, you don't pass on improving the team for an unknown chance at landing CP3.
