I believe the Magic can win, but a back to back ending in Denver? That's usually a recipe for a loss for any team.

The high altitude will not help, plus the fact that Denver has a lot of talent (even if Billups is sick with the flu) and they play great at home, makes this game pretty scary.

So if they lose, it won't upset me. If they win, then I will be very, very happy.

Ah, there we go, I was beginning to wonder where our game thread was. Let's get this stickied, shall we?

Should be a fun game - back-to-back after that great win in LA; we just need to keep up the intensity and not let that air get to us. Jameer v. Chauncey should be a key matchup...

Not to cover this thread with even more ESPN banter, but why are we labeled as a team that shoots too many three's as well as a team that "lives and dies by the three" when a team like Cleveland averages just 5 fewer attempts from three a game, at 20.6?

We're being scrutinized for making them at a higher clip, which is just plain wrong.

As for Denver, we win. The days of Chauncey taking Jameer to the woodshed are over.

Nuggets 96

I think we win in a high scoring game. JR Smith looks to have gained his shooting touch back the other day so this will be a great offensive game.

Too bad I won't be able to watch it though. Living in Lake County and having the only option of Comcast. No FSN on Comcast......

start a one man riot in downtown lake county, or drive to a bar, either or, the riot would be cool though, but i guess if it's one guy it's more of a felony when you start lighting cars on fire. come to orlando go to burtons bar in thorton park, they're dog friendly and they let you get food from wildside across the street, to which i'm deeming the best wings in orlando until someone tells me otherwise.

I think winning last night gives us a much better shot in this one. I was worried that a loss last night might drain the team, but that win keeps the energy high. If we can build an early lead it will help our guys stay fresh. I predict a fast start by us, and we fight off a late 3rd quarter run to win by a final margin of 15.

Their x-factor is Linas Kleiza, he's been up and down since Carmelo went down with the injury. Our x-factor is our 2nd unit, all of it. Dwight played the entire 2nd half last night, and our bench needs to at least play solid and not give up big runs. Also starters need to step up themselves when playing with bench players.

This is one of my 4 predicted losses for the month, however two things work in the Magic's favor. First, the Magic already proved me wrong on Miami and ATL, winning both those games. Second, I made that prediction before Denver lost Carmelo, so the Magic have that much more of a chance to win.

Hopefully I'm wrong again.

Orlando 98

Denver 105

we better win because our team made winning so ordinary for us that we expect to win every game no matter who we are playing against or wherever we play, we become too used to wins.

I do not know if this is good (magical?)...

For me, I will not be disappointed or pissed of if we loose this one, I will still be proud of our team..I love everyone of our players, and I do not want to hear anymore trade suggestions. Do not fix it if it is not broken.

IMO, this is gonna be tougher than last night.

Sure it's great to show up one night and beat an elite team.

But to turn around and face another division leader the next night who has a PG that has straight up pwned you for the past few seasons, that's a whole different test.

If they win tonight, I will never...and I mean, NEVER doubt their mental toughness. That would be absolutely remarkable to beat LAL and DEN on a road back-to-back.

I just can't see it happenin. Maybe I just have the old Magic Basketball in my head...big-time win, then it appears to be a fluke through a let down the next night.

Let's say 105-98 Nuggets. Let's hope I'm wrong.
