  1. You never have point guard before, this year you dont have point forward either. watch boston series last year especially game seven. If you dont play your own game plan, boston kills you every single game.

Either he got to the rim or found an open teammate almost everytime. So somebody please explain to me why from the 4 minute mark to the 1 minute mark Vince does not get one touch? I swear to god, they completely stopped going to what was working and it made no sense whatsoever. I really want to know whether it was Van Gundy's decision or Nelson's. Nelson is a very good point guard whose pros heavily outweigh his cons. But you have to ask yourself, is he the right fit for this team? When you have a team with so many weapons you need a smart PG who knows where the ball needs to go at what time ala Rajon Rondo for the Celtics. Nelson is a great scorer and he uses his ability to get to the rim to set up teammates. But I don't think he's what this team needs, in the second half VC was unstoppable in the pick and roll and from minute 4 to 1 in the fourth quarter Nelson would not give up the rock, VC did not get one pick and roll opportunity, not one. Pathetic. HEDO HEDO HEDO ......

Hustles a lot more too. You are right, when you evaluate season games. But those comments does not show anything, before playoff games. 0,59 shooting percentage shows, he is not forcing, he is not making games for others. we will see in playoff.

    Are Turks leaving here?

We are still here. You are not that much lucky !!
  7. quote: Originally posted by Gianto:Hedo was the player who held us back from getting that ring last year! If it wasn't for his ****ty step-back air-ball 3's, non-text-book off-the-dribble passes, Boston series would never gone to Game 7. Hell, if he could play enough to earn his [bold]big[/bold] pay check we could easily sweep Cavs. If it wasn't for Hedo's terrible in-bound pass, Lee could easily make that lay up... Last second Kobe block was pure luck, he should of made 6-7 more of them. If we didn't sweep Lakers at Finals last year, Hedo is the one and only responsible Magic for that. He didn't give anything in return of his 7M dollar pay check, and yet he still had the nerve to ask for 10M/year. ****, we don't give that to any player. Why would we give it to a low-IQ deserved-to-be-a-bench-player like Heydu Turkoawdfglyu. He don't TurDawflu. HE DOes Fart-alot. Finally we got rid of that ****ing big-nose mumbling freak. Watch my Magic going 82-0 this year. ****, even 83 - nothing. And, I say it first; 09-10 Champions, sweeping Lakers 4-0 at the NBA Finals, my ORRRLLLAAANNDDOOOOOOO Maaaaaaaggiiixxxx Baby! Wooohoooooo! [/sarcasm] You, unappreciative *******s! What was the efficiency of ariza ? Hedo killed Ariza accept for last game. Because of missed foul call by referes, he lost temper on that game. kobe,Gasol and Odom killed us. Fisher is hero now because of Jameer. Hedo was leader of team on points and assists. see you next season !!!
  8. what are you talking about ? You can assume that Hedo has left from magic. I hope his new team will be portland. .

Let turk go and win the finals next year

quote: Originally posted by fan for too long:With Turk running the offense and Ariza hounding him to the ground. The Magic will not beat them. Turk is not fast or strong enough to handle Ariza's unrelenting defense. Also Rashard can not handle Gasol or Odom down on the post. Stan, if you want to keep Turk you need to come up with a different offense. Something that you have been unwilling to do for two years. IMO we need to trade Turk for a strong forward that crashes the boards and move Rashard back to his natural small forward position. Who is available? And why does it seem most people on this board think we have to have Turk back? How do you see anything different next year with the same player? I, for one am not satisfied with one career win in the finals. Why should you be? fisher was better than rafer and nelson Kobe was better than lee and pietrus Gasol, odom and bynum were better than Dwight, lewis and gortat Only position we have higher points, rebounds and assists SF position. .

SVG on Hedo's role on this team!

quote: Originally posted by emory889:Do Turk's fans get royalties off of his new contract? I've never seen people so worried that he won't get 10 million a season. LOL No appriciation for Hedo in Orlando !!! that is reason why his supporters are not confortable here. I really deserve Portland. Young team needs veteran hedo. Poor PGs needs Hedo's ball handling and passing skills. ROY + Alridge + Hedo new big Three Greg ODOM will develop with Hedo's basket brain. He will create positive effect on him. With Hedo Orlando made run last couple years. playoff - conference semifinal - final Its chalange for Hedo. Doing same thing with another young and skillful team. And i wanna see orlando without hedo !! means 3 TO less than before and saving team his poor shooting FG%
  11. quote: Originally posted by VaBchMagicFan: quote: Originally posted by Levation1331: quote: Originally posted by Mr. DaTsuN:yeah only hedo makes sense for the blazers, they dont need anything out of the 2010 FA bucket, they have Roy and Aldridge. Hedo makes absolutely no sense for the Blazers and they would be foolish to sign him. They have a young, up and coming team that Hedo does not fit into. If you're pay Hedo big money then you need to use him like Stan does. Which is allow him to dominate the ball and take whatever shots he wants. In Portland, Roy dominates the ball (well deservedly so), and their coach has a slow down the game, half-court offensive system that would never allow Hedo to take the shots that he takes here. So basically they would be paying Hedo to be a spot-up shooter, even though they already have Webster and Fernandez for that purpose, but they but they provide better defense and youth. Remember the days before SVG, when Hedo was struggling to find his role and came off the bench and contributed nother other than shooting. Its isn't that he got any better, its that he finally found a coach that let him play like he does on his Turkish national team. I hope Portland overpays for Hedo, bc that would just be one less contender that we would have to compete with for a championship in the future. Hedo is a guy who wins and takes pressure off Roy. Just likes he does off Nelson, he can also create his own shot and is a veteran guy who has won and played in big games. Portland is going to have to trade guys eventually because they cannot resign all these guys when they become FA. They are very close to being a top team in the West but need to add some veterans. i completely agree with you. When you have hedo, you will have another ball handler and PG plus 6 rebound, 5 assist and 16 points every game. They could not beat Houston, when houston lock Roy.
  12. quote: Originally posted by richnba:Hedo wont make any team a legit playoff team. I think people are overrating Turk just a little bit. He shot a whopping 41% from the field and just 35% from the field. Averaged 2.6 turnovers to 5 assists, and plays next to no defense. He is a system player, and a very good player in this system, but to think he will go to Portland or Toronto and make them instant contenders in very dilluted in my eyes. If hedo signs with portland or toronto, we are going to see ... and We are going to see magic also !!!

Sign Hedo now and trade him later?

    dont cry and dont sign
  14. quote: Originally posted by Levation1331: quote: Originally posted by Tough Break There: quote: Odom is going to sign for a lot less than 12 million a year and Odom is a much better player than Hedo Don't agree with that at all. Hedo (even ignoring stronger stats) has more on his shoulders than Odom (who was basically a role player this year). Hell, Hedo basically ran our whole offense for a huge portion of the year. Put Turk on LA for Odom and tell me they're not a better team. They're not, bc Turk would just be a role player for LA as well. With Kobe, Turk would not run the offense and would prob just be a spot up shooter. Furthermore, Odom is a tremendous rebounder and allows the Lakers to not skip a beat when Bynum is injured or in foul trouble. He can play the 3 or 4, and can guard either position effectively as well. Also, don't forget the fact that Odom is a supperior interior passer. If Odom was on the Magic, Dwight gets 2-3 more dunks a game easily. I would not be mad at all if we somehow ended up with Odom instead of Hedo next year. Just my opinion. Did you see double teamed odom, jameer, lewis ?? Hedo is only player who have basketball brain in Magic. If Magic dont sign with Hedo and Gortat, they will have almost 10 million for real PF in next season. Let see what will happen ?? You will not have right to blame to Magic's PG jameer and rafer.
