    C. Paul trade adventure; ESPN TrueHoop(pg. 17)

Ok, CLEARLY my post went over everyone's head (except for Catman). Everyone on this board tries to bash Jameer for being a scoring PG, which is in itself retarded. The same people who say this stuff about Jameer act like Paul is never going to take a shot, he will. I wasn't saying Jameer was better than Paul, he's not. I wasn't saying Paul wasn't a pure passer, he is. I was saying that Paul is also a SCORING PG, something you all fail to realize. No wonder nobody can pass the FCAT, even though the test is created at a 3rd Grade level.

  3. It's pretty clear that it's Wade's team, not LeBron's.

It was an alley oop on a last second play that he caught almost behind the backboard. He was being held and had to toss up a quick attempt as his momentum was carrying him out of bounds. And Gasol was hanging on the rim, but you can't call goaltending in the last minute of a game. SMDH.

Yes! Exactly!!!! I don't understand how in the world they beleive that they can sell anything other than a rebuilding situation to Paul, with a rookie gm, rookie headcoach, ownership in limbo and a squad made of mostly luke warm vets and a few promissing youngsters! They're trying to raise the price. It's just a simple negotiating ploy. He'll be traded before the season starts. I guarantee it. Thats doubtful, he can demand a trade but NOLA would be very unwise to trade Paul right now. He has already disrupted next season regardless of whether he is traded now or mid-season; either way NOLA goes into rebuild mode. The only way NOLA doesn't go into rebuild mode is if they come to amends and Paul buys into their future. If any trade goes down its not going to happen right now because after Dec 15th several teams like NY will have way more assets to offer. At this moment really only 4 teams are in the running. After the first few months of the season have passed, more teams will be willing to trade higher quality pieces or recent trade pieces that aren't working out will be eligible 12/15. Plus around half the value of any expiring contracts that would come in a trade will already have been paid by the other team. Why will the Knicks have more assets to offer? The Hornets want Anthony Randolph and Raymond Felton? Lolz they cant even deal felton too. Or Randolph, at least not in a multiplayer trade.

    NFL's 18-Game Regular Season Extention

It would be awful to extend the regular season. Every season record will be broken in the next three years. They better have an * next to them. Think about it, it's an amazing feat to get 2,000yds rushing in an NFL season. In an 18 game season 2,000yds will be "meh".

Bill Simmons just hit a new low. He said on Cowherd just now that Gallinari is more attractive for New Orleans than Jameer Nelson. "How do you offer Jameer Nelson to your fans? At least with Gallanari you can say, 'Look at his shooting percentage. He's a potential All-Star.'" Um...Bill, Jameer IS an All-Star.
