Remember when TheRevTy was basically blacklisted from these boards for being wrong about a Chris Paul trade back in the 2010 offseason? Good times. Or maybe it was the old OZone boards? **** idk.
-
I wouldn't even be mad. I'd love to see him get a ring on a contender. Just not Miami.
-
Shout out to all of the veterans of this board.

Anyone post on any other message boards? Like /r/nba or /r/orlandomagic? I still follow the team but like talking about the NBA in general. -
I like the part where he said he wouldn't have traded any of his teammates for the world... Except for all those times he alluded to wanting to play with better point guards than Jameer. And the part where he traded his old team for a completely new team by pretty much saying "I want to be traded".

New Orlean Hornets change team name....
JRam027 replied to MoMagic1's topic in Around the NBA/Globe Game
This is the worst team name in all of professional sports. And it's not even close. Only slightly worse than the Orlando Juice which never came to fruition thank God. -
ORLANDO MAGIC at LA Lakers, Dec 2nd 9:30 PM EST
JRam027 replied to Mauro Pedrosa's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
35 points in 7 minutes. Beautiful. -
I'd say Goodell and I don't even think it's close. He's the biggest hypocrite of all time. I mean I cannot get past the fact that he was pushing for an 18-game season while simultaneously preaching player safety and cracking down on other stupid stuff. I know the referee lockout wasn't his fault as much as the owners but pushing for that 18 game schedule is the most dangerous thing you can do to those NFL players

Haven't read through these replies yet but I personally think Presti made a mistake by doing this trade. They were about 5 or 6 plays away from winning the championship last year and this trade didn't put them any closer to winning it this year. They gave away the Western Conference because Harden absolutely KILLED San Antonio and LA last season and there's no way Kevin Martin will be able to take over their offense when Westbrook and Durant are on the bench or having a bad game. Has Kevin Martin even played in a playoff game before? They did it purely for financial reasons and it's going to cost them the Western Conference crown (possibly) over the next few years. They should've just played the season out, then when Harden's offered the 60 mil or whatever they match it then amnesty Perkins (stupid contract to begin with) and keep those big 3 intact. I mean OKC is one of the more profitable teams in the league and the income isn't going to slow down when you're winning 62 games every year with a human highlight reel in Westbrook and the greatest scorer of the past 20 years in Durant. DAMMIT i HATE THIS TRADE

At least Iverson's people were smart because he has a few million in a bank account that he can't touch until he turns 55. But yeah he's broke now, but he won't be in about 20 years.

The Dwight Howard Drama Unfolds
JRam027 replied to Live or Die Magic's topic in The Thread Hall of Fame
I don't even know why the Lakers would be okay with the Gasol for Harrington swap. Gasol's finesse and IQ would raise the level of both their games, pick and pops all day, Al Harrington isn't making them any younger either. -
He knew about someone who liked to f*** little boys in the a**. He knew there would be future victims. He said nothing. For years. He had to go..

If Dwight re-signed in Orlando would you root for him?
JRam027 replied to the notorious S.A.C.'s topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I still really really want him to somehow re-sign with Orlando, so yes, I'd totally root for him. -
Like most other posts, I want nothing more than to see the Heat fail miserably. I'm openly cheering for Boston because I don't want Lebron to ever win a ring. Plus the Celtics will get smashed by a younger and healthier Thunder team anyway. I still think back to the 2010 eastern conference finals when Boston became the team I hated the most, but that preseason celebration Miami did ("once the games start its gon be easy") makes every one of their losses enjoyable. Im rooting for the Spurs over OKC because I can't stand OKC but I definitely want a west team to win it all this year.

Sources: Howard demands SVG to be fired
JRam027 replied to TheOrlandoTragic's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I'm glad SVG mentioned what time it was, so that way we'll always know that 04-05-12 at 12:02 EST is when **** officially hit the fan for this franchise. -
Offseason Thread Part VII: The Fall of The Lockout

Idk if it's realistic to think that Golden State would basically trade Ellis for Turk. -
Offseason Thread part VI: Return of the Lockout
JRam027 replied to Fultz4thewin's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
If you ever were to say this to someone in real life, you'd probably get your head smashed in. I'm not gonna sit here and act like some badass while threatening you over the Internet, but I'm pretty sure you don't have the balls to call someone an idiot in person. Thinking back, I remember seeing the pictures you put in the "reveal yourself" thread, and you'd get the **** beat out of you by any decent sized guy. -

Offseason Thread part VI: Return of the Lockout
JRam027 replied to Fultz4thewin's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
If the players would have decertified on July 1st like the agents wanted then we probably wouldn't have missed any games. I remember thinking it would be best if they didn't decert too. sad. -
I've sided with the players throughout this entire lockout. But they really f***** up here. Hunter and Fisher should have at least taken the vote of the players, but they knew that the players would accept and Hunter and Fisher dont want to accept. This is the best deal they're going to get, all theyre doing is losing out on a year of pay to try to make a point that won't be made. Stubbornness and greed is resulting in us losing our last season with Dwight. (possibly)

Offseason Thread part VI: Return of the Lockout
JRam027 replied to Fultz4thewin's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Hunter and Fisher didn't even take the deal to the players for a vote. The players would have said yes too. It's crazy to think that there are several owners who didn't want to even give the players the proposed deal because they don't think the players have given enough up. Michael "if you don't like it then sell your team" Jordan is one of them. -
Guys, we were up 5 points, with the ball and a fresh 24 with under a minute left in Game 4 of the NBA Finals and we freaking lost. Shard makes a nice move to set up an easy 10 footer and clanks it, easy dunk on the other end. Dwight clanks two free throws. We don't foul so naturally Fisher's gonna sink the tying 3ball over a pg who hasn't played in 4 months and forgot how to close out. Pietrus decides to go iso(fail) to end regulation. and despite all that happening in less then a minute, we still had a shot in OT. That one stings. Murphys Law.

I just wanted to provide the link: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6816873/nnamdi-asomugha-agrees-five-year-60-million-deal-philadelphia-eagles-source-says That's what I'm talking about!!

Monta for Dwight is the stupidest trade ever, rumors are probly bogus.

Ugh, Atlanta sticking with Chicago makes me feel worse.
