    Pacquiao fears Mayweather

This fight really needs to go down.
  2. I wish I had your confidence in this team. I just don't like their offensive strategy at all and think this year the good teams will own us in a series. Howard isn't playing the same as last season and he's getting in foul trouble too quick. But you never know things can turn around soon and they will start playing more like a team on mission. But right now I just don't see it. But it's a long season so hopefully we see some change.
  3. Besides Arenas, Butler and Jamison, what other players would anybody want. Butler I hope the Magic trade for and the Cavs would want Jamison. Me personally I would want Jamison over Lewis. But nobody wants the other Wizard players. Maybe Haywood and McGee and Foye but that's it.
  4. I would like Otis to either trade for Caron Butler or Danny Granger.

    2k10 team up

PG Chevy/Nelson SG Thuglife/Carter SF Rob/Barnes PF Osprey/Lewis C Ramsde/Howard This would be a good lineup cause it uses all our strengths. I play like Barnes anyways cause I hustle like he does. Try to get all the rebounds and love playing defense even though its much harder this year. Also I'm a good cutter to the basket. I know Thuglife is pretty good with Carter. And I know Osprey is a good shooter with anybody. Ramsde likes manning the paint so Howard is the perfect fit. And Chevy can play with either guard so Nelson would be a good fit. I'm on during the evenings so I will be always ready to play. Noreaga2626 is my gamertag. Hit me up whenever.

    2010 BCS Championship Game

Shipley went off. Too bad they lost. But I had Alabama winning anyways. Their running game was just too much for Texas.

    2k10 team up

You know I'm down. I'll play with anybody as well if the servers let us play. I'll take Pietrus or Barnes if I have to.
  8. I would say YES. Just what Lebron needs another weapon. Williams have been consistent all season and Lebron needs a PF with inside/outside game. Jamison has that and could help them out huge. Varejo would be the back up big man so they would be solid for as bigs. And they have West, Gibson and Moon coming off the bench. They just are stacked at every position and they do have the one of the best players in the league. So to bring in Jamison would be a huge pickup. Instant 20ppg 10rpg and plays ok defense. I would be happy for Jamison cause the guy plays so hard on a losing team. This would be his best opportunity to win a championship.

    Would you trade V. Carter?

I would take Granger over Carter right now. Granger plays hard on both ends of the court. Can you imagine Granger and Howard on a team together. That would really help our defense that we lack. And he could be the go to player. 24ppg 6rpg 26 years old and good defense. Who wouldn't want that type of player. Carter is just too one sided of a player IMO. I really want him to win a ring but the Magic needs to think about their future. Granger would fit right in.

    Would you trade V. Carter?

I would trade him for a star wing player on a bad team like Danny Granger.
  11. Yeah when I saw that crap about him TEXTING I was thinking to myself, damm we have to be the weakest team in the league. Our so call leader texts his teammates to get on them. IMO, I don't like SVG offense but I like his approach on the players. I haven't met a coach yet that doesn't get on the players to bring the best out of them. Howard is no leader.

I was told that another way it might work is if you sub your players in during the game, not before the game starts.

    DWYANE WADE!

Yeah Rondo is nice. I think Wade is out of Miami after this season if they don't bring in Bosh or somebody.
  14. I know a good team on 2k10 that nobody really plays with. the WIZARDS. You gotta remember they still have Arenas Butler Jamison and their roster is pretty deep. Also if you can time Arenas shot release that guy doesn't miss. But I think I'm gonna start playing with the Bobcats. I don't shoot a lot of 3's anyways.

Brandon Bass' ability to score under the basket...

I really like his game and he could help us in scoring points in the paint. The guy is a beast and he needs to play more. Last night 8pts in 11 minutes. I'll take that any day.
  16. I need to re-read the TOS quote: Profanity is not permitted on our boards. This rule includes the creative use of symbols instead of letters or switching two letters around. Basically, don't use language here that others may disapprove of and you won't have to worry about receiving a warning or worse.
  17. Jack lj, your boy Redick has been playing some good ball and you been down with him for as long as I've been on this message board. All I know is Redick is making money. He's been very consistent and teams will want him. I'm truly happy for him and glad that he's getting his chance now. He is becoming a solid player. Good job JJ. Keep it up man.

  19. What's so bad about the message board?

Magic only play hard at the end

I hope SVG finally realize that he should run a 3 man rotation with Howard, Lewis and Bass. Let Bass backup the 4 and 5. That way we can play more traditional at times during the game.

    Push the ball!!!

Even though I agree with you about the Magic needing to run more but I thought Nelson played ok tonight. He still dribbles too much IMO but he made good passes and didn't have any turnovers.

The most important year of Vince Carters career

I agree as well. Good post man. I don't think that the will to win goes away with age cause if you look at 31 year old Kobe, he look like he will be playing until he's 40 and still would want to keep winning championships. We just don't have that player on our team. Maybe Carter might wake up soon and realize this is his best chance to actually win a championship out of his career. I really want Carter to win a championship with the Magic cause the guy has played so hard on crappy teams. I know it had to be hard to stay focused from all that losing over the years but now he's in a good situation so he needs to take advantage of it. When is VINSANITY going to show up is all I want to know?
  23. quote: Originally posted by ezzzp: quote: If they run the offense through him and this team sucks than I will admit I am wrong but he simply does not get enough touches with enough frequency to know what would happen. Are you watching the games? They run not just plays but an entire offensive scheme specifically built for him. Just about every half court set begins with the ball handler trying to get him the ball - this year that usually ends up being: a turnover, a foul (which might as well be a turnover), or he holds the ball so long and then passes out too late for a poor shot late in the clock (see VC's shooting %) or if its an early pass out he doesn't repost (like he did last year) usually taking himself out of the play. The other sets are pick and rolls which he just doesn't finish anymore. Watch him, he'll set the pick but he never rolls or he gets caught out of the play. So it looks like Jameer or (primarily) VC are going 1 on 1 but the reality is that DH just is out of position every time. That's what I don't understand cause that Nelson and Howard pick and roll play was a killer. Nobody could stop it but now Howard isn't rolling at all. We should really use him as a cutter to the basket more. I rather him cutting instead of posting up. The last time with the ball in his hands the better. But something is clearly not right with Howard and the offense.

    Wishful Thinking Thread

Next year we trade away gortat and get away from all our expiring contracts we sign a big name free agent. Trade Machine Tested, Trade Machine Approved That's fine and all but the only problem is Lewis contract. I doubt that anybody would want it. Carter they might take on. But it doesn't hurt to try. And then you don't know which Tmac your getting in this deal. He is older and have become more injury prone in the last several seasons. But to see that guy tearing up during the post game of the Rockets losing in the playoffs shows his heart and thats what this team lacks. So for the rest of the season I wouldn't mind trying it out. But chemistry is another thing you have to consider. But it should've been Tmac and Howard along time ago. Maybe he might get another chance.
  25. quote: Originally posted by ezzzp:totally agree. If any of the other 4 starters on the team are having off nights (even a bad year) the team - as built - are ok as our depth is built to withstand that. It is a rare game when at least 1 of the other 4 starters don't have it going or someone off the bench sparks. But when Dwight has a bad night there is no fix; not how our offense (or defense for that matter) is built. If there is no inside presence the 4 out 1 in offense crumbles to 4 out 0 in. This is what is happening a lot this year because of DH's offensive regression, plain and simple. Sure VC is chucking up alot of shots and Rashard and Jameer are looking like shells of what they were last year, but that is for the most part a direct symptom of Howard's offensive regression. The people on here or in the media that are saying Dwight needs more touches, are not watching every game. If so they'd be seeing Dwight flatfoot and fumble 90% of his post possessions. They'd see he continually gets lost in the pick n roll either by forgetting to roll or ending up out of position to finish the play. If so they'd watch Dwight *****-cry "HEY!" every time he goes up in the paint; if its annoying to people who are his fans imagine how annoying it must be to the refs. The refs are like tee/pin placement in golf, only they vary every quarter of every game - the great players make adjustments throughout the game the great players make adjustments throughout the game - for the life of me I can't figure out why Howard can't realize that. I'm glad you say that cause that also applies to coaches as well. They need to know when to adjust throughout games and SVG is proving that he doesn't know how to.
