    Paul wants out (with link)

I wouldn't chance keeping Nelson and bringing in Paul. Nelson value will drop and no team will want his 8mill per season contract. We will be stuck with him. Also bringing in another starting pg will be a slap in Nelson face. Nelson has to be included in the deal to get Paul. Nobody keeps an $8mill backup pg that won't get that many minutes due to Paul taking most of them.

This is the first comment from Skip Bayless that actually makes sense. About time. Chris Paul and Dwight Howard would be the best PG/C duo in the game. The best way to beat Miami is to join the Magic and battle them in the division every season with Howard. I feel for Nelson but it's just time for a change. If your Otis Smith and a healthy Peyton Manning is out there you go get him before another team does. We need a quarterback/ court general out there and Chris Paul can give us that. It's just time for a change.

It just makes more sense to join the Magic over any team on his list. He could be our captain and have full control of the ball handling duties. Also he will be teamed up with the most dominant center in the game. If you thought Paul and Chandler looked good imagine Paul and Howard. Lewis will also be another scoring option for Paul. And every one of our role players can score as well. We could offer Paul an starting role and 38mpg in the same division as the big 3 in Miami. Who knows then we could probably go after Anthony as well with Paul and Howard here. No state tax and we make the playoffs EVERY season. What more would he want. We have all the pieces except a high caliber pg. Nelson is very good but he is no Chris Paul.

If we get Chris Paul then Lewis and Howard instantly will be better scorers. Paul will get them good shots and with Carter and Nelson gone all 3(Paul,Howard,Lewis) will be able to get enough shots in. Lewis would be still averaging 18ppg if Carter wasn't here. Same with Howard should've been in the 20ppg range but both players took less shot attempts this season. We tried the Vince Carter experiment and it didn't work. Let's move on.

In order to get Paul it's going to take giving up Nelson. You can't have both of them on the same team.

I'm just waiting for this starting lineup: Paul,Redick,Richardson,Lewis,Howard We would have 3 good shooters surrounding Paul and Howard. That's just unstoppable. And to pickup Okafor as a backup big man isn't a bad move either. If he does well then his value will rise and will be easy to move. Okafor is averaging 13ppg 10rpg 2bpg in his career, that's not a bad pickup at all.
  7. I might be the only one that actually like this trade. When Arenas is healthy he can be one of the best in the league. He's like a scoring PG in a shooting guard body. So he will definitely start at the 2 guard and help run the offense with Nelson. Now Arenas guarding other 2 guards might be a problem but he can't be any worse than Carter was. We finally will have a 2 guard that can take over games and create shots for others in Arenas.

Did anyone happen to see this?

Why the hell would we want to help the Bulls get Melo. If anything we should be going after Melo. I mean Deng is a good player but come on this Carmelo Anthony were talking about. I think Melo is a better fit in Orlando.

Wizards Insider: VC for Gil *will* happen

I would take Gil for Vince in a heartbeat. He was playing ok until the suspension. I just feel like Gil game will help Jameer the most. Vince really wasnt getting his teammates good looks and thats what Gil can do. Also Nelson can play more off ball now with Gil starting at the 2. This team would have a lot of scoring power and FINALLY will have a CLOSER at the end of games. When Gil is healthy he can be one of the best players in the league. Otis should definitely go for him. The last superstar type wing player we had was McGrady. Its time to bring Agent Zero to Orlando. Nelson,Arenas,Richardson,Lewis,Howard would crush every team in the league.

    magic improvement?

If Carter and Lewis would've played better than we would have beaten the Celtics. I just don't see us making a big move. Adding Richardson and Duhon was a need and we should be pretty much set. Also I hope SVG plays Bass more this season cause the guy really should be Lewis backup at the 4. I don't care that he can't shoot 3's cause he helps us in other areas.

    Signatures for 2009-2010 season

Any Q-Rich sigs made yet. If you have some Addifb I would like one.
  12. I want Jefferson so we can run a 3 man rotation at the 4 and 5 spot just like the Lakers do with Bynum Gasol and Odom. We would match up better with them.

Knicks and Magic trade talks go on!

quote: Reply If we do pick up Al Harrington then this proves that the Magic will still play the same as the past 3 seasons with the "stretch 4" offense. When does it end.

Earlier this season they were on top of the world. Now this. Just sad how quick they fall. Well at least they still have Mo Williams. LMAO!!!!
  15. quote: Originally posted by A BETTER DJ:Yes on Arenas for Vince! I'd take 2 popsicle sticks and a band aid to get VC off our floor. I don't ever want to see that off balance hand in face fade away clunker in Magic blue again! LMAO I feel the same way. Fadeaway shots for no reason at all.
