This guy is a year removed from being on "fire watch" and suddenly he has been handed the keys to a Ferreri (though not a new one). Talk about luck! Coaches with twice the salt as this guy are probably kicking themselves...Jackson, Nelson, Adelman, etc. Sure, those coaches have nice toys too, but not in the EAST!! The flip side to this is that if he fails to get this team to at least the Eastern Conference finals (and assuming the main 3 are relatively healthy this year), he will likely lose this gig, and will probably not get another coaching shot in the NBA for years to come.
