so what picks do we officially have no with the Bulls loss and OKC loss, assuming the positions stay the same.

We’re pick 6, the Bulls pick depends on a coin flip with OKC for 11/12. That’s pre-lottery, of course.

Best case scenario is Bulls win the coin flip, but their pick stays at 11, so it becomes ours; and we manage to win the lottery and our pick is top-4.

Worst scenario is Bulls win a top-4, and keep their pick; while three other teams jump up as well, leaving us with only pick 10, and the Bulls pick next year, which probably will be out of the lottery completely.

Fortunately the odds of us picking 10th and Bulls getting top 4 are incredibly low. It'd require all teams below us to jump us. We've only got a 0.02% chance of picking 10th, and the Bulls, even if they won the coin flip would only have a 9% chance at top 4.

The most likely scenario is we pick 7 and 11/12.

Ant Black kind of confuses me. He's the exact type of prospect I usually love (positional size, great defender, terrific playmaker, plays hard) but I think because we already have a lot of what he brings I'm kind of more down on him for us than I'd be in a vacuum.

But I think there's definitely something to be said for the space in the NBA + development + differing role alleviating some of the questions around his offense.

The only thing is the jumper. I don't care as much as most because draft should always be BPA and we've got 2 picks (probably) but it's hard to envision it working long term with our current core + Black unless we get some serious shooting development from somebody.

Give me GG Jackson please and thanks

He is a hidden gem.....if he is there when it's time to pick 11 or 12 he might be our pick.

Five-star GG Jackson reclassifies, commits to South Carolina after decommitting from UNC....this from an old article date July 2022, yes.

At 6-foot-9 and 210 pounds, Jackson is ranked as the No. 1 power forward and No. 2 overall prospect for the Class of 2023 behind Camden, New Jersey, guard D.J. Wagner in the 247Sports Composite. Jackson is the highest-ranked recruit in program history.

And he will be only 18 1/2 years old when drafted in May....unbelievable.
