Not only is that cherry picking bad games (noone called him a gamebreaker), but his individual +/- still suggests he was part of positive lineups despite either not shooting or not shooting well. For a forward he keeps his fouls and TO's low and he finds a way to not f' it up for everyone.
CTMagicUK 1,482 Report post Posted July 4, 2019 You can look at any player we could have got for the MLE and find games where the box score is ugly. That's why they're getting the MLE not the max. There's also a handful of games where he put up 20/10. He had over 14 rebounds in a game 4 times last season. He's going to give you effort and defence every night regardless and we're not going to be depending on him to start every game like the Trailblazers did which reduces the negative impact of a game where he only gets 2 points.
crisby pancakes 126 Report post Posted July 4, 2019 I'm confused . . . Why is someone posting 3 random boxscores of someone that played 81 games? 1

IMO, our coaching staff seems to be able to develop players pretty good so that could help. I hope to be pleasantly surprised by the development of some of our guys this year. I get that you want to maintain some sort of so-called standards, but not everybody has your basketball knowledge.
CTMagicUK 1,482 Report post Posted July 4, 2019 Memphis are trading Iggy, I'd do Mozgov and a 2nd for him. Doesn't make a lot of sense to offer more given he wouldn't push us over the top and he'd probably rather play for a title contender but he fits our mould and has championship experience that could be valuable to our young team. *Shrug*
Nyce_1 311 Report post Posted July 4, 2019 Is Fournier a top 15 SG? Klay Harden Jimmy Vic DeRozan Mitchell Beal CJ Booker Gary Harris? Levine? Jaylen Brown? Redick? Holiday? Ross?! Gordon? Wiggins? Did I forget anyone? Where does Fournier rank?
hootie249 293 Report post Posted July 4, 2019 Why didn't we sign a few guys known more for shooting or offense. This what everyone is trying to say. Aminu is a defensive specialist, lets cut to the chase. This is undeniable. In fact Portland has had low scoring forwards the last few years because CJ and Dame take most of the shots. In theory we can have that shooting with more internal growth. I just wish we had gotten at least one more shooter, they were out there.
