Seems Shams has been played a couple of times lately

He wasn't.

Woj reported that Davis wouldn't sign an extension with New Orleans. Nobody said he demanded to be traded before the deadline.

Well Davis’ “full evaluation” about the extension occurred a day or two later :)

BTW, Davis waiting until the summer to be traded is how the Lakers get Kyrie and Davis

Looking at their salary structure does that mean Lakers have to get rid of Ball and Ingram because they would have to have two max contract slots to get both players?  And if that is the case do we strike now to try to get those for Vuc or Ross or Fournier?

No they need them to trade for Davis

Yeah but they will not be able to do anything unless they have the cap space. With Lonzo and Ingram on board it is very difficult to achieve that. They need to trade for AD now if that is their intention

they can wait and sign Kyrie but then will habr to trade for AD. Boston will go after him harder. He can sign with LA in 2020 but then again they will have to open up cap space and likely will have to do a trade with Boston For Lonzo and Ingram and picks.  Boston is not staying quiet.

EDIT:

nevermind, I saw someone bringing this up before me.

If I was LeBron I’d go after Kemba, not Kyrie. Less of a wild card. I know Kyrie apologized to LBJ but even so.
