HeHateMe 697 Report post Posted February 18, 2017 Payton is like a poor man's version of prime Rajon Rondo. I don't think the guy is a starting PG on a good team in the NBA. He could be one of the league's best backups though. I think he'd be a solid backup. He can bring tempo and pesky defense. I guess by default he would be one of the better backup PG's in the league as there really aren't many good ones--but his weaknesses as as starter are still there as a backup.
