For as bad Otis was at times, he did get Rafer Alston for basically nothing, then traded him and Courtney Lee the next year for VC and Ryno. If only we resigned Hedo that year instead of letting him go.

Those were two great trades.

The Hedo trade back was bad. Letting Gortat go was bad and the arroyo and Darko saga was also bad.

Im not sure who has been worse.

Ben Simmons foot is still broken. That's not good

That sucks, I hope he recovers.

Honestly, I hope our ability to treat/prevent injuries continues to improve as I hate how much impact injuries can have on sports in general.

Also, as an aside, people who root for injuries are scum.

Sigh.. McGrady for Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato... ugh

Then, flip Mobley to Sacramento for Doug Christie... Christie decides to retire, Francis goes in to full meltdown mode because we traded his best friend.

Sometimes I wonder what we would've been like if we could've convinced Tracy to stay and play alongside Dwight.

Going back further, the McGrady situation might have been manageable if we hadn't traded McGrady's best friend, Mike Miller. Imagine a Dwight, Juwan Haward, GHill, McGrady, Jameer lineup, with Miller 6th man... 04 would have been epic if Orlando management wasn't stupid as always.

If we get Markel Fultz, Josh Jackson, Lonzo Ball, or Dennis Smith, we need to make sure we, you know, don't trade their best friend. I don't care if someone is offering us a first round pick for CJ Wilcox, if he's Markel Fultz best friend, tell that other GM to go to hell.

Never would have had Dwight if we kept McGrady.
