Magicman28 295 Report post Posted May 16, 2016 Just read this little gem... They had to take a timeout. The Magic knew, of course, that Skiles had been unhappy and that Skiles and Hennigan had clashed at times throughout Skiles’ lone season coaching the team. But team officials thought an off-site retreat in late April that included Martins, Hennigan and Skiles — with Martins essentially serving as the mediator — had smoothed over any differences. They were wrong. 2 days ago – via Orlando Sentinel

Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted May 17, 2016 Led by the man himself, Alex Martins. Has there been any franchise who's done such a thing? Well i mean Minnesota committed contract fraud in order to sign a role player. That's pretty weird.

TrueMagicFan07 672 Report post Posted May 17, 2016 Skiles called Magic CEO Alex Martins on Wednesday afternoon to inform Martins of his decision, and Martins attempted on Thursday morning to talk Skiles out of stepping down. Skiles was not a part of the Magic's delegation that interviewed eight draft prospects Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday evening in Chicago. The delegation included Hennigan, assistant general managers Scott Perry and Matt Lloyd, scout Anthony Parker and lead assistant coach Adrian Griffin.
