he wasn't loyal

I dont know about that, dudes been a member here for like forever so he seems pretty loyal.

Could have bought it at the Salvation Army or something for like $4 bucks which would make her cheap or...

Dwight has been irking me to no end.I wish Hennigan would trade him already to Houston for Lamb,Parsons and whatever else (a bag of skittles and a pepsi max).

BTW has Lamb signed his rookie contract yet?

Dwight is trying to punk the Magic into getting his way.Hennigan needs to not squirm and give in.

Conflicting reports, but I believe the answer is no.

I posted this in this thread on july 10th. I told you this would eventually come out.

Hey all.. I was a member here about 4 years ago. When the board changed, I wasn't able to get back on so I never bothered.. just lurked.

Anyway, I'm getting back on because I think that theres something that most everybody is missing in the Dwight fiasco. You have to read between the lines on this one.

Dwight complained about being blackmailed. What he is referring to is that Devos promised him that he'ld trade him after last season if he'ld sign and play out the season with the Magic. The whole loyalty thing was Dwight being committed to the Magic for the season and not being traded. Dwight said he would be loyal and what he meant was for last season but it was under the condition that Devos traded him to where he wanted to go and thats to the Nets. Things that point to that are when Dwight commented during later in the season that it was hard for him to decide because the Magic were playing so well. In his words, "we keep winning". He wanted to exit the Magic with giving them one last chance with him to take a shot at a championship. Devos agreed and Dwight signed under the condition that he be traded to the Nets in the offseason.

Alex Martins said in a couple of press conferences that his goal was to get Dwight to sign long term. So Dwight semi left the door open but basically said that he wanted to be traded after the season to the Nets. Martins job was to try and talk Dwight out of that but obviously as things have transpired, thats not going to happen. Dwight is wanting Devos to live up to his end of the bargain and trade him to the Nets. Devos is likely in a connundrum as Dwight opted out the playoffs for surgery and missed the playoffs entirely. I think its on Richs' head right now what to do. As you've heard, Dwight is furious that the trade to the Nets hasn't happened yet. Hes banking on Rich holding up his end of the agreement.

If i were Rich, I'ld tell Dwight, you blew the agreement when you had elective surgery on your back before the playoffs.

Y! Sources: Dwight Howard tells Magic he wants trade to Los Angeles Lakers in short-term, Brooklyn Nets in longer. http://tinyurl.com/bo6wfre

You think the lakers will go for that?? Fu.... moron

And then he blames the magic organization

My favorite line:

"Howard is, in fact, working against himself. He’s hurting his own chances of being traded,"

Dwight is Dwights problem, and will never see a ring if it continues.

My favorite:

"But this? This Dwightmare? It’s gone beyond anything that we thought would happen. It has crossed every boundary of reasonable expectation for a player’s behavior and at this point resembles some giant-sized child, smashing houses while it screams that it wanted its birthday cake with aqua-colored icing, not blue....

Trade demands are nothing new, that’s a common defense of Howard from the seven people left on the planet who don’t feel he’s being a complete brat. And that’s certainly accurate."

"Brat" and "child" by an NBC writer. Dwight, you are these things and more! Lol

I hope Henny does not wait too long on this (if he has not already) and miss out on the chance of getting Lamb.

IMO Lamb will be an All-Star in 2-3 years.
