2. Journalists run with them for the attention and the off-chance they're legit

3. Magic fans go crazy and feed the rumors

4. More journalists use message board rumors as their "sources" that trades are imminent

5. Flame grows

6. Pat Williams, who probably doesn't keep up with these rumors, tweets about something completely unrelated

7. Magic fans are now convinced the rumors are true

8. Magic fans are glued to NBA draft

9. Hour passes with no trades

10. Magic trade 2nd round pick for cash considerations.

 

Rinse, repeat annually.

 

 

This is probably the closet thing to actual reality in all 6000+ posts. We coulda made one thread with this post in it and not wasted all this time posting fake twitter posts or real twitter posts that look like fake ones.
