This either means:

 

1. Magic liked Orton enough that they were willing to trade out and he is not part of a NO trade.

 

2. Otis is full of it, as always, and is blowing a lot of smoke while he finalizes something.

 

It just doesn't make sense for him to say that when we didn't work him out and there were players available that we did workout.

The Knicks just drafted two player that won't even make their roster. Donnie Walsh has definitely lost his touch when it comes to drafting. The center from FSU would have been a good fit for the Knicks, especially since they needed a shot blocker.
