That I wasn't sure of. Why not?

Heck, I don't even know for sure if you can do a 3 team trade involving a sign and trade.

We were involved in a FOUR team trade involving the sign and trades of Hedo and Shawn Marion last year.

Oh yeah, good call. Man, I forgot the Jermaine O'Neal and Marion experiment in Toronto.

I remember when Colangelo was thought to be a personnel genius...

BRAD MILLER /END THREAD

You heard the man. Shut it down. Nothing to see here.

Also, only if he brings back the cornrows.

He's adjusted to not wearing a headband so he should be good coming here.

Seriously though, Miller would be so awesome for the vet min.

Wow thnx bro, I really appreciate that.

I think I deserve more than the vet min though, I'm not really a vet. smile_shardhappy.png

Bench would have issues but I think we can find a way to plug the holes there. Plus, this roster would be designed to do only one thing, to win the ship.

In the playoffs, you rarely go beyond 8 man deep. Maybe 9.

Rev, any idea why it's been Bass rather than Anderson in these trade talks? Is it because Magic management still sees Ryan as a valuable player or because other teams aren't too high on him? I just wonder because with our current stretch 4 line-up, he's ideal, but with a traditional 4 in Bosh, it seems like Bass might be a better fit off the bench.

Either way, I don't mind cleaning out our bench for a player like Bosh. Can you imagine the foul trouble of opposing teams' frontcourts? Dwight and Bosh were numbers 2 and 7 in fta this last year and that was with Bosh missing 15 games or so.

Plus, though our bench carried us during the year, a lot of them were liabilities during the playoffs with the exception of JJ and sometimes Pietrus.

I just saws this on rotoworld.

A source close to the Phoenix Suns recently said that there's almost no chance Amare Stoudemire will return next season.

"Amare's done. He's gone," the source was quoted as saying by ESPN's J.A. Andade. It's probably too early to say that, but if Steve Kerr couldn't see eye to eye with owner Robert Sarver, it's not surprising that Amare can't either.

GET R DONE OTIS.

AMARE, BOSH, BOOZER, OR BUST

All indications are that brass really likes Ryan. In reality, his skill set could easily lend itself to mimicking Bosh in terms of working on his mid-range game. Plus, he allows them to not completely abandon the 4-out offense, which has been successful, just not championship caliber. It has even been said to me that they wanted Ryan in the draft 2 years ago, but when he came off the board, they went for Lee - but I don't have anything to back that up. Essentially, Ryan has tons of potential still, while Bass is likely at his ceiling in terms of talent level - though his production could clearly increase.

Plus, you have to figure a guy like Bass would fit better on most teams than Ryan would, given that the majority of teams run a traditional 4 - hence the "traditional."

for those wondering why we can't S&T Barnes; it's because we don't have his bird rights. If he's re-signed, we can't trade him till Dec 15th. If he's on the team for 3 yrs, then we'll obtain bird rights and said privilege.
