.. So nobody's talking about how Vince didn't wince

Recommended Posts

If Vince plays at this rate, and he is capable of shooting 35% for a whole month, like he did in January the Magic will not get by Cleveland and maybe not even by Atlanta. If that happens he will be considered a bust. He was brought here to win a championship and he has to perform.

1 awful game, one decent game, another bad game, and a good game.

15.5 ppg

4 rebounds

2 assists

35.7% overall shooting

1-17 from 3pt

That's an awful series... rebound was OK and so were his assists (compared to his season here), but the scoring, what we got him for, was really bad... 35.7% shooting and 1-17 from 3 is awful and hopefully it was just January Wince creeping in for a hello and quickly leaving. His shot selection was awful. I don't care if "those are shots he can make", Howard can make 3s too, but not exactly at a high rate. ****, if Vince sits down and shoots an 86 shot, which is a shot he can make, would that be okay?

He needs to stop with the off-balance fade away jump shots and drive to the hoop for some contact. I didn't mind most of the 3s he took since they were wide open, and his jumpshots were just off, but there's no reason for him to continue doing what's not working and hope that eventually he hits them.

His bad shooting percentage was all due to the Bobcat's doing everything they can to stop him. Larry Brown made up his mind that they were not going to be beat by Vince and Dwight and they ended up letting Jameer and Rashard do their thing. Wallace and Jackson are also fantastic defenders who won't let get Vince get into the lane easily, and on every pick and roll they doubled Vince and doubled him hard with their big man.

He won't see this same Defense from Atlanta and neither will the Magic. The whole team will go from 90 points a game to probably over 105 in the next series.

Guys come on. lol

While he may have not winced during the series, he played..just...terrible on offense. Ticky tacks were given to him all around.

did you watch the games crapcake?

most of the shots he missed were GOOD SHOTS he's not going to keep missing wide open 3's, and wide open 17 footers the percentages prove that

it's easy to say he should go to the basket, guess what he doesn't get alot of calls, and he needs his jumpshot so that it opens up the ability to get to the rim, not rocket science

Most of his 3s were good, most of his jumpers were not. I don't care what anyone thinks, but a fadeaway 18ft jumper is NOT a good shot, especially off balance coming off a screen.

That's way too many jumpshots and if you think otherwise you're insane.
