lets see the last years of championships have had nothing like Nelson. Nelson could pull off being D Fish, but he really doesnt have a mindset like D FIsh or anywhere near hte defense. The only similarities is that they both shoot 3 well.

so lets see. And I might be off on this

2009, LA- Fisher. Will pass or shoot open 3s.

*runner up: Magic- Alson. Will pass.

2008, BOS- Rondo. Passes or scores at the rim.

*Runner up: LA- Fisher.

2007, Spurs- Parker. Will pass, or score at the rim. Does not focus on pulling up jumpers.

runner up...well they got swept

2006, Heat- JASON WILLIAMS.

*Runner up. Mavs. Idk

2005, Spurs.

*Runner up. Pistons- BILLUPS. WILL PASS

2004, Pistons.

*runner up. LA.

2003, Spurs

*runner up. Nets- JASON KIDD. Will pass always.

idk I could go on it just you wont find a point guard that's goal is to dribble around to find himself a jump shot.

Proves you know very little. Chauncey Billups was still a dominant scorer when the Pistons won that last Title. I don't think he even averaged 6 assists. And frankly, I don't think it is a fluke that Chauncey went from being a scorer on NBA Finals competing and winning teams to being more passive and them getting punched in the mouth for like half a decade.

And in '08 Rondo wasn't a passer, he was just a poor scorer. Basically the examples you listed all very well support the argument that point guards need to be scoring or taking spot up jump shots.

Nelson is definitely better. J.Will comes off the bench with something to prove so of course he will play good. But as soon as you make J.Will a starter, can he still bring it consistently? Not too sure about that. He has a history of having really cold games every now and then.

I can dismiss that stat really easily, actually. Watch:

Our record with Jason Williams starting: 13-4(.764)

Our record with Dwight Howard starting: 33-16(.673)

Ergo: Jason Williams is better than Dwight Howard.

See how stupid that logic is?

Ha-Ha...Nelson ain't the answer, imo...If I end up being wrong I'll have no qualms admitting it.

First thing is getting him healthy which at this point looks unlikely...

BUMP

Is J-Will the answer right now?

Well if that's the case, then Ball Junkie needs to take one for the team and come call out Vince Carter!

He needs to start hating on the whole team. We would torch every team for the rest of the playoffs
