Worst game thread ever, and I mean it in the best possible way. Regardless of how the rest of it plays out, this needs to be saved in hall of fame at the thread's conclusion.

 

It's the Skywise Bowl! My two fave teams from each conference... although Chris Paul and New Orleans are pushing GS hard as my fave West team.

 

Anyways, their x-factor is Andrins Biedrins, especially if Dwight doesn't play. He could really hurt on us the boards. Our x-factor is our overall 3 Point Defense. We need to get back to locking it down again, which we haven't been doing the past 2 games.

 

So anyway we win, and win comfortably. Not easily, but comfortably. It's bad enough that Golden State's lack-o-defense makes them "The Wiz-West." But even worse, Stephen Jackson has only made 10 of his last 50 shots. No, I'm not kidding. Corey Maggette would have to go to the line 30 times and Beidrins would need a 20-20 just to make this go down to the wire.

 

Not happening.

 

What WILL happen, however, is a monster game by Jameer Nelson as long he gets through it with no complications. I'm thinking 29 points, 8 assists, 4 boards, 2 turnovers. Which is why I'm playing him in Pick One tonight.
