The coach decides who starts? If the bench players are better than starters then the roles should be reversed. That's on the coach. If the starters then complain about being made bench players its up to managment to ship them off.

Sooner or later we need to find a coach that we can stick with and build this team with. This whole swapping and changing coaches is not good for anyone. Even the 76ers found a coach they liked and have stuck with him through four tanking years and they now seem set for the play offs in his fifth season. He's even survived front office change. So we need to try and find someone we can stick with if we plan to rebuild this roster, or we need to find someone that can put everything together and take this young roster to the next level without a major overhaul.

OK so here's where we are at with the tankathon. If we don't win another game we finish 3rd worst with 21 wins unless Phoenix or Memphis goes on a tear and beats the other tankers, then we finish 1st or 2nd. If we beat Atlanta we finish 4th worst at worst If we win 3 games we probably finish 5th at worst If we win 5 games we probably finish tied for 6th at worst Chicago (24) should beat us and then the Nets twice so potentially = 27 wins minimum Sacramento (24) should beat Phoenix and Memphis so = 26 wins minimum Phoenix (19) will finish 1st or 2nd worst they have us, Dallas, and Sac left. If we let them beat us = 20 wins Atlanta (21) only has us left in the bottom dwellers sweepstakes if they win = 22 wins minimum Dallas (22) has us, Sac, and Phoenix and should beat us and Phoenix = 24 wins minimum Memphis (19) only has Sac left so they shouldn't win another game = 19 wins minimum Brooklyn (23) has us, Phoenix, Memphis, and Sac and should beat us all = 26 wins minimum We are at 21 wins so if we lose the rest = 21 So here ya' go if we all tank it out: Memphis 19 Phoenix 20 Magic 21 Atlanta 22 Dallas 24 Brooklyn 26 Chicago 27 If we were to beat Phoenix, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, and Brooklyn Phoenix 19 Memphis 20 Atlanta 21 Dallas 23 Brooklyn 25 Chicago 26 Magic 26 So there you go! We should finish between 3rd and tied for 6th worst so at least we have the security of knowing we should have a top 7 pick. Earlier I was thinking we'd win too many games and finish 7-9th. There is still the possibility that NY doesn't win another game which sticks them at 26 and moves us to 27 wins if we beat them and Phoenix, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, and Brooklyn and picking 8th. I'd be OK with 3 meaningless wins and picking 5th but I hope that we go the other way and pick 3rd.

Critical game tonight....losing bumps the Suns win total up....winning bumps us back into the collection of teams that sit above us with some other critical games to play this week. Gotta hope for the big loss!

He isn't a good player, but he'll continue to make millions playing a game for a living. There isn't really anything to feel bad about (Or I guess maybe your're saying you feel he's a bad player. I thought most of us already did). He's extremely lucky from where I'm sitting.

A lot of people took Hammonds quote last night and pointed to porter and jjj, but honestly I don’t get how you don’t hear that quote about length and shooting and picture Mikal. Kid is really really good. Will have an immediate role in the nba with tons of potential to grow. Maybe I am just biased because he might be my favorite prospect (not necessarily the best prospect) but I think this kid is 100% what we are looking for other than a pg.

I think there's a good chance we end up with Young, JJJ or Mikal and I'm cool with that

Shai has looked good at times in the tournament. He could be someone that moves into the top ten if teams buy into him, but I think he’s one of those talents that would be ideally selected if we traded back to get the 76ers, Clippers, or Suns picks. No Mikal in the top eight? I’d say he’s got the potential to be someone we could be interested in if we fall outside the top five. He could end up playing SG or SF depending on the team, and a 3-and-D wing like Mikal could be a nice fit next to Isaac and Gordon. It also allows us to try and package Fournier or Simmons plus whatever else to try and get another late lottery pick, perhaps allowing us to grab Sexton or Shai. Not sure I’d take JJJ over Bamba. I like JJJ’s shooting and ability to space the floor, but his performance in the tournament and against better competition is a concern. I think the size of Bamba with his rebounding and shot blocking is very appealing. He’s a work in progress offensively but he has decent touch and should be useful on that end.

i Heard the interview and he is more interested in guys that can score and shoot more than anything else. He did mention that the league is looking more for length and athleticism(ouch to vouch). but he emphasized on the scoring. He brought up a story ofthe time he was playing pick-up basketball and always selecting the guy that can shoot over everyone else. Guys..... I think we are going with YOUNG. The guy in the draft that can score and shoot while the rest of the teams are going for size and length. When it come with size and athleticism then I see them going after Bamba above the likes of Porter, Bagley, Carter and any of the Bridges. Magic top five board after the interview( in my opinion): 1. Ayton(shooting and size) 2. Doncic(shooting and size for his position) 3. Young(shooting and scoring) 4. Bamba(lenght and athletecism) 5. JJJ(athletesism and size)

Also... I really hope we're not drafting Porter. Injuries scare me... of course it's worked out for Philly drafting injured guys and letting them recover properly (admittedly all of those guys showed more in college than Porter did).

Watched last night's game and I honestly wasn't that impressed by Bagley. Rebounding was solid in the second half but I'd expect any top big man to rebound, aside from that he didn't show anything defensively that made an impression and most of his offense was catch and finish or put backs. Thought Carter was just as impressive if not more.

GOD I hope not. His potential to spend most of his career getting treatments on his back is too much risk for the reward. Think Grant Hill 2.0 We need to draft a healthy player rather than damaged goods.

If he can just stay on the floor, yes!
