Last thing he needs is more stress on his shoulder...

Kyler likes to do that after something already happened

Fultz is a ball dominate guard. Simmons is a ball dominate player. Philly would entertain it with the thought that both games conflict with one another. Evan fits better in a sense he can catch and shoot, come off screens, and hit shots from Simmons distributing the ball.

Its based on basketball references wonky numbers but yes. Also you need to look at those through the lens of college basketball where advanced stats are inflated. Last year's warriors had the highest offensive rating of all time at 115.6. 19 college teams beat that number this season. Luke Kennard was 130.6 104.4 last year. Semi Ojeleye was at 132

As I’ve said before, if Henny was “forced” to do those trades, he was a weak gm and should not have held the title. Yet he did hold the title and with that comes the responsibility, right or wrong. I’m glad he’s gone and I’m glad we now have basketball management with gm experience. No way do these guys now at the helm get “forced” into very bad decisions.

Still can’t believe what Dipo and Harris netted over the last year. Henny and the Magic look like the new kid at the poker player who’s been fleeced by vet players. Henny obviously is a great scout but awful gm. Looking ahead, we better not give AG away in a boneheaded trade.

It is funny how people keep calling this trade a bad overall trade for both sides. I, personally, think it was a wise move by Detroit. Detroit is no a city that will attract any free agents if you have no talent. Blake is someone that can and will do that for a franchise. I am not sure if Drummonds will stay there for long if they dont do well in the playoffs. LA was not doing well been over the cap and with Blake and Deandre as their main pieces. But I dont think they are in tanking mode. I dont see their ownership considering that option. I think they will continue to make moves to remain competitive. Tobias is not Lebron but he is surely a nice piece to have. Lets just wait and see how things goes over the next couple of weeks and see what happens. They now have 2 first round picks they can use to trade if needed for better talent or just keep them to select decent talent to help them next year.

I have a weird feeling we'll actually make a good trade before the deadline. I'm probably dead wrong.

Just saw the news. I wasn't expecting that one. It's probably just the beginning of trade madness.

Maybe he could start by teaching the current roster basic fundamentals.

That seems like a Bagley possibility now that you mention it. Your point is valid though. Everyone is the franchise savior until they aren't.

I think this year is an exception. I wouldn't have done it last year (Fultz, Ball etc) but I think Young and Doncic are special

I guess you missed the part about young player showing promise, and yes, we DO want 2 top 5 picks in this draft! If we do entertain moving AG it will probably be for a young player PLUS a top pick this year and probably 1 or 2 other good picks. We have to stop forgetting that we are the worst team in the NBA at the moment and whatever we do, we won't be worse than we already are. We have very few assets and if we don't use some of them you'll get to watch Payton's hair bounce up and down, Vuc not play D, and us sucking badly with no light at the end of the tunnel again next season.

Weren't you also pro Payton for mudiay?

Weak? Come on man. He was an employee. He didn't do anything immoral. We're not talking about some inhumane catastrophe. He made frigging basketball moves that fit his coach and his boss's thought process. You wanted him to pull a Skiles and just get up and walk out and never GM again? Its basketball man. Btw, the only reason why the new regime isn't forced yet is because they're new.

Fultz is damaged goods. We can do better than damaged goods for Fournier. If there is nothing wrong with him Philly would not trade him anyway.
