What's the logic with getting Lin? I'm not very fond of him as a player.

He's good, good for what we could get from Baby, but not too good to where he'll carry us out of the Wiggins sweepstakes. And, revenue. You're welcome, RDV.

Magic won't take Lin because they want clean books for 2014 summer.

He makes $5mil next year and then becomes a $15mil expiring the next. I can't see him being that hard to flip. I get that everyone is gearing for LeBron that summer, but even in the last summer of LeBron it wasn't impossible to flip an expiring.

Doron Lamb, Tobias Harris, Kyle O'Quinn, Andrew Nicholson, Moe Harkless & probably DeQuan Jones will play summer league for Magic.

:-)

and our draft picks!

I would not be surprised if Harris did not play.

Tobias and Vuch are eligible but most teams don't play them after two years in the league if they are getting starter minutes.

Harkless needs the work on scoring and ball handling.

Al Harrington for Perkins and the TO first.

OKC buys out Harrington, saves themselves about 20 million.

Orlando gets a top 8 pick

We keep complaining about the quality of this draft and you want more picks!?

I suppose you can get a guy like Isiah Austin to develop long term but he'll go much later.

Anyone think Magic will compete for a playoff spot next season?

If we can get some bench production we might sneak in but 2014-15 is really the year we should return if everything goes to plan.
