2023-2024 General Game Thread

Terrible loss tonight. Absolutely horrible on multiple levels. Too many 3's attempted, missed free throws, and turnovers caused the loss this evening. The game was lost at the very end of the second quarter when they blew that 13-point lead. Oh well at least the Knicks lost tonight. Still 2 games behind for that 4 spot in the east. Have to shake this one off and get ready for the next one.

We are careless with the ball and can’t overcome bad shooting. Pretty typical in games we lose. We should be up by 17+

Turnovers. Missed free throws. Horrible 3-point shooting. All these things led to the loss tonight. Have to shake it off and move on to the next one.

I’ll take this win after those last couple minutes. If Suggs played like this every game he would be a top 10 (maybe higher) two-way player.

tuned in for the last 5 minutes and have no idea what you're talking about. Paolo and Suggs have been clutch and we're playing with a fire in our bellies. Perhaps it shouldn't have been this close but this team showed out when it mattered. Learning to win in close games is certainly a necessity for teams to succeed in this league.

Looks like this is turning into a loss tonight folks. The team looks like they are asleep. Too many 3's being hoisted. 7-15 from the free throw line. Mentally they have checked out folks. They seem to do this frequently when their shots aren't falling. Paolo seems as though he is frustrated. The body language is awful. Oh well. Have to shake this loss off and get the next one.

never gets old

Game ball goes to Suggs. This team played inspired basketball tonight. A real team effort all the way around. Paolo had this thing on lock. Play that song! Enjoy that Papa John's pizza! Yeahhh!!! Woooooooo! Truly it doesn't get any better than this. Right folks?

Keyonte George would've been the perfect guard for the Magic. He would've complemented Suggs in the backcourt, too. He was giving it to Suggs tonight. I think we drop the ball on that pick. I read they were high on George, too.

All and all, very good game. Jazz were hitting some big shot, which kept them in the game. But Paolo took over down the stretch and Suggs hit some big shots to close out the game. Markelle played his part in the win, too. Entertaining game.

I said before the season that if Suggs, Paolo, and Fultz could get better at 3s we'd be a team to reckon with. We got 2 out of 3 and here we are. Suggs 3-3s in a row was an exciting turn of events!

and let's wait how miami respond after our win. that team always get a win out of nowhere when they are suppose to lose.

I always think we will be up in the standings against them when we win and they are playing a western juggernaut only to get surprised the next morning.

hope we can get to that level sooner
