At this point Isaac is a defensive specialist and anyone who can rival him puts him out of a job

You know you're allowed to have more than one defensive specialist on your team, right? Isaac is a 4/5, Black is a 1/2 and occasionally the  3. The two have nothing to do with one another. Like I said, he's more of a threat to our other guards. Fultz is in a contract year, and Suggs will be eligible for a rookie extension this summer. Black gives AP and Welt a little leverage if they can't get nothing done with those guys.

The Magic traded pick 35 in the 2022 NBA draft for a future 2nd and cash.

That pick was Max Christie. He was -24 in 24 minutes tonight in an L.

Just one to consider the next time we trade away a second round pick (and look I get it new draft picks are exciting, I wish we used them more too... But mostly second round guys suck).

Full stop!  Second round picks mostly suck but some don’t. I don’t have to make a list do I?

I don’t see any NFL teams trading their 7th round picks for cash. Pick someone, it’s not hard, then if you don’t like them, let them go. At least you got first dibs. Maybe you get lucky. This is not brain surgery.

If you don’t try, you’re just picking up the scraps other teams didn’t pick. If you think second round players are bad, then how good are the players left after?

Let’s hope Fultz injury is not serios

Seriously …all this optimism about AB …I can promise we ain’t making no playoffs with a backcourt of heavy minutes from Suggs and AB …it’s still college football season for me so I only watched the 1st quarter …on every possession there was nobody within 10 feet of AB …this was your typical NBA game where the Magic came out with loads of energy cause the Lakers thought it was gonna be a cakewalk with us missing our backcourt

Well, you should try watching the game before you comment, because the kid balled out. Knocked down the open shots, played great defense and made some really nice passes. He looked WAY better  than Wallace did in his first start, too.

Also, he looked more poised than Cole and Suggs, too. Those two can get outta control, whereas Black let the game come to him. The moment isn't too big for the kid. I liked the kid coming out of the draft. I thought he was the best player in the Maui Tournament (back to back 25 point game), and was clearly the best player UConn faced on their Championship run.

Now, we need Jett to bump Ingles outta the rotation. Kelly Oubre would of been a much better fit, too. The Sixers are paying him under $3 million. Bargain!

We get a future second in every deal where we trade a second. All we're doing is preserving the asset for the future, we're not giving it away. Also NFL picks are way different to NBA picks due to the differing talent pools and the impact individual players make on their respective games.
