That said, it's also possible that Payton becomes the starting lineup's Jonathan Simmons, attacking the spread out defense, taking guys one on one. It's a conundrum. We played this way against Miami with him in the starting lineup and he should thrive with more space in the paint now Vooch is hitting 3's. The sooner he is back the better.
