We have a roster full of guys that can play 3 different positions.

 

Do I trust that Vogel won't mess this up? Not at all.

 

But I don't think Simmons is the nail in the coffin for Mario. Completely different players. This team is severely lacking in players that can shoot the ball so by all means Mario will get a chance to prove he can fill that void.

I'm fine with the deal. I don't think Simmons is anything like the guards we have. He seems to care about defense. I'd still be fine trading anyone but Isaac and maybe Gordon. It's a new day.

In order for Payton to be effective you have to surround him with guys who can shoot and spread the floor.
