2017 Official Offseason Thread

A veteran who plays a specific role. Like the Augustine and Green signings were win now moves. I'm not saying he is good or it would work. It would be a win now move not a build for the future move. So if management's goal is to win then I'm fine with it although I hope that's not our direction.

Like Augustin and Green, think we get the same results.

I don't see the point. Rather distribute those minutes to guys who's already here and just experiment with out of the box lineups with them.

I agree but I have no idea what management's goals are.

Best we solidify a core 8-9 players:

Biyombo

Gordon

Fournier

Ross

Payton

Vuc/Gordon

Isaac /Gordon/Biyombo/Hezonja

Hezonja/Isaac/Ross

Fournier/Payton/Hezonja

Mack/Payton

That's the core 9 to experiment with.

That starting lineup has a better effective rating over the SL with Vuc.

Meh

Simmons would be a much better bet than Shabazz. Especially considering you don't need to overpay him now to make it unpalatable for SA.

What could we offer him?

He's the kind of guy this team is severely lacking. Tough.

I agree with this. I would love this. We would be walking away from Mario then wouldn't we?

He turned down $11M from SAS. We can't even offer that.
