2016-2017 Trade Idea Thread

Recommended Posts

Include Jeff Green and Lakers first rounder, top 3 protected, for Rudy Gay if you want. Or you can go smaller, try to include Casspi instead or just use Green for another trade for a more 3-D type of SF. The idea is Mario will eventually start once he's ready.

Cousins/Biz

Ibaka/Rudez

Gay/Hezonja

Fournier/Meeks

Augustin/Payton or Payton/Augustin

Fire away

To tank and get a year off gallos contract..rebuilding money

They are 2 games out of the 8 seed with their only competition being portland and maybe LAL. They could get more for him if they were going to move him. They would probably insist on Gordon and cap relief tbh.

Would anyone on here like Doug McDermott? He's fallen out of the Bulls rotation and he'd fill a shooting need off the bench or possible starter at times. It obviously wouldn't be a superstar but would definitely add a need.

It was basically Vuch/Gordon Lakers 1st for Cousins. Could add something if needed maybe taking back Casspi. Add Green for Gay if you want although I rather have a starting 3 and D player until Mario is ready. Don't care for Gay at all.

I think Cousins value is low and I wouldn't doubt they part ways. Seems inevitable.

We have plenty of shooters. We need guys who can score 1 on 1.

I don't think "shooting off the bench/spot starter" is a need.

In terms of who the Sixers give up, it’s a relatively fluid situation. Hezonja’s lack of involvement as of late means there’s much less leverage on Orlando’s side, opening up more options for Philadelphia’s front office.

Future picks, whether a first rounder or a handful of second round selections, seem like a likely conclusion. Players like Hollis Thompson, T.J. McConnell, and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot aren’t unreasonable pieces to float, but the need for additional pieces in a deal is fairly obvious.

If the Sixers want to throw Robert Covington into the conversation, the Magic might need to throw in additional pieces in their own right. While Hezonja could easily be considered a better prospect long term, Covington’s production — as inconsistent as it has been — is a more proven entity for the time being.

Can Hezonja's stock get any lower?
