LaVar 108 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 So is the Marvin Williams comp. Whoever wrote that should get their eyes examined. I usually don't read much into what nbadraft.net but they're pretty accurate here. Your funny. Your entitled to your opinion. I'm not a fan. He reminds me of Marvin Williams. I rather have Dennis Smith, munk, fox, or Tatum.
Jason Funderburker 110 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 Drafting Monk allows us to keep Payton I think: Biyombo Gordon Ross Monk Payton Vucevic and Fournier are best wrecking havoc off the bench or traded. Keeping Payton as the starting PG is the worst possible option

Don't see Philly taking Tatum and don't see TWolves taking Monk either but hey, weirder things have happened.
Murphy13 185 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 Keeping Payton as the starting PG is the worst possible option I know you stick close to the collective ebb and flow of this board, that scenario is far from the worst option though.
Murphy13 185 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 Weird mock. Don't see Philly taking Tatum and don't see TWolves taking Monk either but hey, weirder things have happened. I don't think that's a mock, but a big board so to speak. I think it would be hilarious if Ball fell to 5 and went to Sacto.

Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 I like this mock and I'm starting to want Monk as our pick more than Smith. this is like the fourth guy you've wanted in the past two weeks. I guess that's more indicative of this second tier though.
Magicman28 295 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 this is like the fourth guy you've wanted in the past two weeks. I guess that's more indicative of this second tier though. No it's not. I never said I prefer Isaac. I said on more than one occasion in that short convo that Smith is my number 1. You're a more thorough reader than that man. I even said I'm bringing Isaac up because it's a real possibility. My board for our pick is/has always been Smith, Monk, and Isaac. Monk is intriguing because after watching some high school clips he looks quite dangerous with the ball in his hands.
Catalina Maria 64 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 It's Monk or Smith for me, realistically. Monk is growing on me because he's deadly at the 3. We need that. Payton, arguably, can be a triple double machine if he is surrounded by efficient scorers. Fournier and Vucevic need to come off the bench. We need to start with: Biyombo Gordon Ross Monk Payton Fournier and Vuc tandem will tear it up in the second unit. We showed more promise with Vuc off the bench, but we didn't stay the course with it. IF that's the case, package Vuc and Fournier for a solid contributor and free up some cap space. Catalina Maria 64 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 What were the effective ratings with this tandem? Biyombo - Gordon - Ross - Payton?
